okay so I've been getting this error only on forums and apparently it's not forums having an issue but my SQL server but it's making it so I double post on forums and I don't mean to so does anyone know how I can fix this issue?

When it says "your SQL server", it actually means WarpPortal's. The message is intended to be displayed to their team, not really us.

They need to fix it.

The forums is constantly being hammered by AI scraping bots. Even bots are plaguing the forums . WP is very allergic to the concept of banning bots so don't even expect them to do anything at all. The forums will eventually rot and you'll be forced to use Facebook.

Whatever the case may be at least they know it's attacking their forums specifically. Opting to use Facebook isn't really a way out they're bots in FB as well. It just all boils down to money there will always be bots regardless of what platform you use the difference between them is one is free with bots and the other is paid with bots.

I get the same message from time to time and usually refreshing a few times works for me. Sometimes it doesn't and I just revisit it at a later time or find the information elsewhere.

 

Good to know some people are still active on the forums.    Was afraid no one really played on here anymore and was contemplating whether to continue playing or not since I don't know all the nuances of renewal.

I don't want to jinx it, but have the forums felt more stable this past week? I haven't been on them as much, but when I am I don't think I saw a single SQL Error. Fingers crossed, I guess
