Hello Adventurers!

To celebrate International Chef Day, we’re inviting you to bring the delicious world of Ragnarok Online into your own kitchen.

Show us your creativity by cooking (or baking!) a dish inspired by anything from Ragnarok Online.

 

 

1. Cook or prepare a dish inspired by anything from Ragnarok Online (example: Meat, Apple Pie, Fish Soup, Immortal Stew, or even cookies shaped like Poring!).

2. Take a photo OR video of your dish together with the RO food icon/screenshot it’s inspired from.

3. In the same photo or video, include a handwritten note with:

- Your IGN

- Your Server

- The hashtag #RagnarokOnline #iRO

- The official event watermark (provided in this thread, please download and use it on your submission)

4. In your caption (forum reply), tell us:

- What in-game item or element inspired it

What in-game item or element inspired it:  Gyatt  Guyak Pudding     -- our best friend when we do our instances.   
Why you chose that dish or design:

 

All of my friends love this item and it's often mentioned during PurefessorLIVE's stream community that I'm part of (Shout out to our tight community keeping iRO alive on Twitch!).

 

Also, it's almost always sold out in-game and so I thought it would be nice to make RO's best-selling dessert!

 

It was also a challenge to get the right transparency, and color, especially the shade in the middle but it was quite fun recreating it in real-life.

What dish you made: I made a 2 layer vanilla cake with sprinkles and googly eyes

 

What in-game item or element inspired it: Piece of Cake

 

Why you chose that dish or design: I chose this dish because I used to make cakes for friends' birthdays. I haven't done so in a long time, so this event inspired me to start again. Plus, its simple and sweet, definitely the way to people's hearts and make friends, just like in game. ^_^ (Also had a blast making this!)

What in-game item or element inspired it: Yellow Pitaya Tail

 

Why you chose that dish or design: I just love how cute and fierce of Pitaya tail design. I choose the yellow one because bananas are easy to find and taste great with chocolate.

What in-game item or element inspired it: Ketupat Sayur

Why you choose that dish or design: actually this is my breakfast dish at my country Indonesia and I surprise when I browsed about what dish that I can show to this competition at -_- aaaand there is an Indonesian cuisine at Ragnarok Online~ Ketupat Sayur ! Its basically a Rice Cake with Coconut Soup with some herbs like galangal, bayleaf & lemongrass etc.. And I add boiled egg, gourds, long jeans etc. I choose this dish because it represent my daily dish and its my comfort food!

Why I chose this dish: I love tacos — you can make them out of any kind of food! They’re really filling, and in the game they were the food I always had during Sunday WoEs or when partying and farming with my friends. Tacos remind me of my time in iRO.

Why you choose this dish: I chose this dish to represent the rich and diverse culture of the Filipino people through food. Every ingredient and flavor tells a story of tradition, creativity, and warmth. Filipino cuisine beautifully combines influences from different regions and generations, creating dishes that are both comforting and unique. Truly, Filipino food is one of the best in the world!

 

About the dish: A delicious dish inspired by the classic bomber steak, reimagined with tender milkfish as the star protein. The fish is perfectly cooked and paired with a flavorful, savory sauce, bringing a unique twist to the original. Why you chose that dish or design:I chose this drink because I live in a tropical city (Cancun) and there's nothing better than a good lime soda to combat fatigue on a day at the beach or pool. It was also one of my favorite drinks in RO because of how much it restored HP (I loved it!!!) and I'll never forget Sessrumnir event because I miss this drink in game so much! T__T

- Why you chose that dish or design: I love chocolate, so I think this drink would be perfect to make   I used artisanal chocolate, which is so good, but I added some milk, to make it similar to the consumable we have in the game.
