Allow searching through bulletin board and vendors for RENT-ENABLED-GEAR 

So you pay the fee for up to the max allotted time then when the fee is no longer paid or time runs out

it is mailed back to the original owner

 

mark these items with rental status (or possible put the original in limbo-or hidden storage then give the rented items to the person paying until times up)

 

Maybe would attract new players/ enhance the economy

Mentor or mentee system or Renters association system/event?

5% tax

 

-note add other ways to destroy or re roll unwanted/crappy non typical build used gear-/recycle-

 

PAIR WITH CASH SHOP RENTAL BOXES/EQUIPMENT TO GAIN A SMALL PERCENTAGE BUFF

Like rental status set but REQUIRES CASH SHOP RENTAL ITEMS IN SET -TO ACTIVATE- SET BONUS-

 

(maybe-keep track of cash shop rentals like -rp or rental points- and Unlock BETTER RENTALS with NYANGVINE AND SILVERVINE--or bestow cash shop rental status to gear with nyangvine or silvervine being used to purchase the temporary effect to the gear/euipment to complete the rental set)

This one is tricky because although I do like the idea of renting gear from vendors a mechanic like that, that's not implemented in kRO will most likely never see the light of day in official servers also keep in

 

mind that if major equips or items were rentable people might flat out stop purchasing any equipment out full and just rent to max level. The Cash shop does offer rental gears and items but nothing that'll

 

catapult you to where you want to be.  A mechanic like this can only be done independently and at your own risk. Like my shop offers "lay away" for people who want to pay little by little and get a

 

item/equipment when they have paid it fully but it's something that I specially do. The reason why I haven't done gear rentals is because once a transactions is made it's a done deal if that person doesn't

 

return your item/equipment back it's not on them but on you... .  For what it's worth I do like the idea though.
