Ok so for some reason, all the items in the kafra shop, except baby dragon hat and some box, are all called unknown item and have the apple as its image. Also, whenever I try to put on the Red Wing Hat, it keeps saying you can't put this item on. I have no idea what is going on. Also I have been recently getting this "Error: can't find sprite" message and I don't know if this is somehow related.

I have reinstalled, and put it in C:/Games/Ragnarok instead of program files.

Well, the red wing hat has a lvl 50 req. So that should be the problem for your merchant

Seeing the other post about the reinstalls and stuff, I'm assuming all is patched correctly... So I don't know what causes the unknown item problem.

wait the red wing hat has a lvl 50 req? But this exact merch was wearing it the other day and even when I check up the description in game, it says he only needs to be lvl 1

Does this mean I am missing a patch since it still says I only need to be lvl 1 for the Red Wing Hat? Would this explain why the items in the kafra shop are unknown as well?

This would make me quite sure that you have missed (part of) a patch somewhere. It'd explain pretty much everything, except for the fact that you've already re-installed (and thus I'd say patched) the entire game again. What does your patcher say when you can press start? Does it even try to patch?

Actually it doesn't even try to patch. For some reason, the window that usually has announcements doesn't load but I can still start the game.



This is from clicking on the ragnarok renewal client. It always says patch process completed(even though there was no patching) and it ALWAYS gives me that can't refresh page where the announcements should be.

Ok. This definately means you have not patched patching should fix it. I think your patch problem is like this one http://forums.warppo...k-patch-screen/ , and since I see you using FireFox, solving problems with IE will probably fix the patcher' problem.

AWESOME!!!!! thanks a lot Chucklet and Dr. Azzy. IT WORKS. It was the IE thing because I just had to make sure it wasn't using a proxy

Where the hell are all these systems with IE configured to use a proxy, but other browsers configured normally coming from? Like, IE doesn't sneak around behind your back and change settings to use a non-existent proxy. Even microsoft isn't that evil. Yet it's a fairly routine issue. From whence cometh bogus IE proxy configs?!
