Hi im lvl 65 dominator who played the requiem in the old days. I got the old set named black sun lvl 66 set.

My skills/dna are wiped so i dunno what build i should go for... any links to build would be appreciated.
Should i use my lvl 66 set or sell it?
And how much could i get for it??
Dont really have any updated items.. So a itembuild for my lvl 65 -66 dominator would be great.

If the set is hp enchanted keep it but switch boots and gloves, if not sell it. Get an FoC set and +12 enchant with resist or so. Get a theme battlefield resistance shield, attack of the infinite, and resist of the infinite. Some wand(there is theme battle one)

Use reinforced jewels, take them and +15 a supernus set or +10-12 an eximius one. There are dominator threads around here somewhere

If 66 set is HP enchanted keep it but sell the gloves and boots there not needed...either get the FOC gloves and boots or 65 BS gloves and boots...If not HP enchanted then go 65 FOC set at least +10...TB attack power and resistance are a must...you can also try to get the wand and shield or staff from TB...For a build id go with something like this http://kruxena.com/s...0,0,0,0,0,0,0,5 at 70 reset and get the lvl 70 lenny

i started to reasearch more and more and finding out that dominators aint really that good that i thought they were.
Should i go defiler or domintor?? for pve im on valdes

noticed that iam domintor and need a job change to change to defielr maybe i should stick to domi?

Dominators aren't as 'good' as some other class, but it's certainly not a bad class. I say stick with it!

L66 S1 armour is worth a lot don't get ripped off.

I can tell you my build (for mainly PvE) :
~SKILLS~
- Max bloody arrow, rake nail, vamp touch - main attacks, max max max!
- Max pets (Medium ones where available) - Kaz's slow and Ennon's heal are nice! AFK grind is win.
- Max Curse Mastery - damage damage damage
- Max Shape of Fear - useful in PvP or JS sometimes
- Max Shadow Binding - no spare DNA for duration extension
- I personally don't think the Evasion buffs are worth it, and the defence buff gets too little def for the points investment.
- No points in anything else (well, L1 fillers where necessary)
- (I might add in Relapse Wound again at some point, but it's % based and doesn't do much for bosses at my level)
~DNA~
- L10 Swift Vampiric Touch
- L9 Potens Vamp
- L6 AoE Vamp

I use a staff (currently S2 Magic Swallower) with Cont. HP Recovery xeon, because as far as I can tell MND boosts Vampiric Touch, and that's my main attack in grinding.
If I went into PvP I'd get a Theme wand/shield.

L65 FOC set for the CON (and MND again, skill crit, SCAD) .... some say L55 set is worth using because of the INT... maybe it is if your main attacks are the nukes (ie PvP).
Enchanted with as much short range defence as possible.

Grind is easy now... round up a chunk of mobs and kite in circles using Vampiric Touch as often as possible. Every cast of that should hurt several mobs a lot and fully heal you with ease. With the HP and Def from the FOC armour, and cont. HP recovery ticking, grinding is fairly fast and steady.

It works on both...I was a domi at ne point before these updates from my experience i dont think its a god class defiler or sin all the way
