Ever since Dragonica moved to here as Dragon Saga, I realize it lacked a lot of things. And then till now, it looks like nothing change at all. So, I am here to post a list of things that I recommend that would probably improve the community, the server and the game. Yes, I admit it, I love this game. So, now I want to post this thread to support and help what I love.

1. Cash Weapons / Eyewears / Balloons / Unlimited Cash Fashion / Megaphones / Enchant Rune Stones / Missing Cash Hair / Face / Cash Pets
These were available during the THQ times, but not the cash pets. Not only these would be pleasing to all players, it would earn much more money for the company.

Why unlimited cash fashion? In my point of view, there's no point on wasting $6 on 10 coins and having about 1/55 chance on each part that I want. And having the fashions expire in a month. If you calculate it, that's about at least $30 wasted on trying on 1 part. And if I want to keep it, that's about $30 x 5 per month for the whole set, depending on your luck. Not to mention, not everyone is on 24/7, and the time on the cash items go down even if youâ??re offline.

I rather buy every set there is for $10 than purchase something that will die out anyways.

2. Cheaper Inventory Expansion / More Inventory Space for New Characters
These were also available during the THQ times. $6 per 8 slot is ridiculous, that's about $24 x 4 for old characters to max their inventory out and $36 x 4 for new characters.

New characters should get the same amounts of inventory space as old characters because to me, it's depressing to see that my new characters fill their inventory in about 10-15 minutes. Forced to drop / sell something I want to keep.

3. Stackable Furniture Buffs
I recommend this is cause people paid real money / earn enough gold to purchase these furnitures, so they can use the buffs. But apparently, if I got a 10% EXP furniture, I can't use my 3% EXP furniture along with it. WHY?! I thought you guys WANT money. If it's stackable, I'll buy more. So, it's a win / win situation here!

4. Unlimited Time in Hidden Maps
Bring this back! Devil Soul Stones are already annoying to farm, but I have a limited time? Now I need to farm Hidden Map Scrolls just to farm another item to get to a Chaos Map?

Including the fact that 4th Job's alternative way to obtain it, is to gather 250 Devil Soul Stones. Not everyone likes to PVP in Battle Square, be on during that time for it or be able to even get into it, with a 50/50 change to obtain just 1 Soul of Hero out of 10. So most people would take the other way.

5. Higher Soul Force Success Rate
I know this has been posted in the forums, but for the sake of it... Please higher it! The rate right now is ridiculous!

I have a 55 Soul Force on an item (Like that matters...), I've tried 8 times on it and it isn't even special yet. 170 Soul, 3 Gold, 1 insurance each time. Total of 300 gold gone. It doesn't seem a lot, but if it continues to fail, it will be.

6. Backpack Items
I recommend that this should brought back, or at least have a quest for a backpack item for new players. In my opinion, itâ??s not fair for new players to come in, and having to know that not only the cash backpack items you need real money, but the normal backpack items are extremely rare. Fact that itâ??s not obtainable anywhere anymore, but from old players back in THQ.

7. Love Love Warp Scrolls
Love Love Warp scrolls should be brought back, because this item is often used. So, what if all the leftover Love Love Warp scrolls are all gone? How would anyone obtain this anymore? Would the Couple Warp be useless from then on?

8. Rare Mini Boss Drops
Rare mini bosses are now useless, nothing special about them. They don't drop anything good. If they were to be able to drop somewhat of a good item, they would probably be worth hunting.

9. More (Promotional / Attraction) Events
Dragon Saga is a great game, but in my opinion, itâ??s lacking on the amount of players. More events would bring in more players and keep current players to stay.

10. Few Active Game Masters
If there was a few game masters that are active in different time zone, it would help the community a lot. Also, they can help prevent botters from spamming.

11. Battle Square Suggestion
This is my personal suggestion for Battle Square. I honestly think that teams in Battle Square should randomized before it starts. So, this way all the best geared/friends would not pick the same team and the people who are AFK would not know who would win.

My second suggestion towards this subject is that, when Battle Square starts, all name should censored. This prevents people from knowing who is their friends and stop them from giving the other team an advantage, killing without mercy. PVPing like it's suppose to be.

Please realize that, most of them are my opinion, but as a player, my opinions do matter. And so does yours, free feel to speak out your opinion if you agree or disagree. Hopefully to change Dragon Saga, which was once a great game.

For Trolls: Please realize you're wasting your time here. You can flame, bash, insult me all you want, but I would not give a donkey foot. :D

Thanks for taking the time to read it. <3

For the best,
~Xynra

A lot of interesting ideas and things that should be brought back.

The idea about the in game gm is important that players have a gm to talk to in game instead of always waiting on a ticket or waiting for one to reply.

I would like to get an idea from the community about how they would prioritize this list from greatest need/want to the least.

The support issue is questionable as users would continually be going to the GM in-game as opposed to going to the ticket system. Based on the changing nature of support, which cannot be released when things happen and the fact that currently the WarpPortal Support team handles all games, this is not a likely feature to be added.

I agree with this, but I think I would like a GM active anyways in game. If it's not for support, it could be for events. Like in the old days, THQ, the only way to obtain Gada Coins was events, the GMs would host a little event 2 times every week. They hosted True or False, depending on how much you got correct, you get a certain amount of Gada Coins.

If we have this here, it would be more enjoyable and while the GMs are at it, they can get rid of spammers. Some people prefer a GM that's around to get them a sense of an active game.

Also, even if the GMs were for support, they are human too. Ticket system is most useful when they are offline. In the end, I think people would use both method.

I know it's kind of wrong that I am speaking for some people, but I have discuss this with my friends that also plays Dragon Saga and they agree with me. The list that I've made was our idea.

1. Cash Weapons / Eyewears / Balloons / Unlimited Cash Fashion / Megaphones / Enchant Rune Stones / Missing Cash Hair / Face / Cash Pets
Include monster card insurance in this list. It's nice to have new content and the ability to expand your skill build, it's utterly useless when it's impossible to increase it due to the lack of this item ever since the release of monster cards (around 3 months ago). In addition, add in time extensions for cash items or there's no point of even having a 30 day item. This feature was working properly back in beta, but stopped functioning since the commercial release for some reason, and hasn't been fixed since.

5. Higher Soul Force Success Rate
If cash items were extendable and the "rose for you" item is released again for valentine's day this year, then this won't be much of a problem.

6. Backpack Items
Definitely.

2. Cheaper Inventory Expansion / More Inventory Space for New Characters
It's manageable, but more space would help.

10. Few Active Game Masters

9. More (Promotional / Attraction) Events

4. Unlimited Time in Hidden Maps
More convenient, I guess.

3. Stackable Furniture Buffs
There are alternative ways to do this, though it's a hassle. Not really a priority.

7. Love Love Warp Scrolls
Not a priority since it should be brought back in one of the future patches iirc.

8. Rare Mini Boss Drops
They still drop.

11. Battle Square Suggestion
This doesn't really help when you have people like me who can single handedly carry the whole team to victory.

Reordered the list and put in my input. I think the main purpose of an in game GM would be someone to turn to for immediate attention. Main issues I can think of is for botters/hackers who may disappear by the time the support ticket gets answered. Any quick questions could be forwarded to a GM as well, but the problem with this is that my experience with GM's are that they are not as knowledgeable as they should be in regards to all of the aspects of the game, and this could lead to misleading information being quoted and passed around. The main thing I can find attractive about this is that people tend to enjoy GM involvement within the actual game, as opposed to merely the people working behind the shadows. It certainly would be nice to occasionally have an event with GM's participating, such as in one of the future emporia wars, or hosting some sort of other event.

Having a GM hosted event isn't out of the question. Currently, the support team is busy with issues that were critical and are focused in that area. The other part of the team is trying to run through the testing of the new content. If people have ideas for events, please message Hastur with them and he'll be more than willing to discuss them and try to make them happen.

Part of the reason why there cannot be an in-game support GM is partially within Yurai's response.

I agree with you on that. But, you basically proved my point on Battle Square. If you can single handedly carry the whole team to victory, then wouldn't people try to stay on the same team as you? If you were famous for that and they can read your name, then wouldn't people AFK more than usual just for free wins? And I've known countless of people complain how some people have better gear than them. That suggestion is probably the best idea to improve Battle Square. Also, if the other team knew that you were there and they've given up all hope on trying to win, is there really a point to even play Battle Square anymore?

On the Rare Mini Boss Drops, I honestly have not seen any of Mini Bosses dropped anything good and I've killed some, or even heard from anyone I've known that got anything good from them. I even heard that they don't drop anything good at all. Either that the drop rate on it is horrible, or it drops nothing good at all. At this point, I still don't think it's worth hunting.

I obtained a skeleton bandage when killing the marduk at valid raeth on my level 55 pathfinder. As for the BSQ part, the point is, no matter how you change it, it's still going to be unfair unless they change the mechanics of the whole system.

Have a naked BSQ room ^o^
Well first of all we need more bsq rooms, we should have like 3 rooms for each level category anyways, but i think it would be cool to make one a naked room for those who don't want to fight against impossible odds.
That said I would love to have a normal naked pvp mode.

@Yurai: You're right. But, the suggestion I gave is not to make Battle Square perfect, it's just to improve it. In my opinion, just one of the many ideas that might work.

@canajew: That idea might be good, but then again what about weapons? If this happens to implanted, then I suggest that all players has a Level 40 default weapon, hence you can only join Battle Square at Level 40+. Cause some certain classes changes different weapon as they get their 2nd Job. And default weapon, meaning everyone get the same type of weapon, so no one is better than the other.

Actually, paladins and myrms would be better than the other classes since they both received an unnecessary buff to their weapon damage.

Ok umm after reading BSQ should still be randomized you don't have to change the whole system instead use a test server to see if it works out. Better to have a test server for these features so people can know what we need and dont need in the game instead of just saying no, that way it will be easy for both sides the developers and the gamers. Suggestions like these will always continue so having a test server comes out as the best possible solution.

Also for cash shop items its better to return all of the missing items that were on thq to this server because its not fair to new players that we have things they don't have the heirloom stuff already makes the problem bad but the cash shop items dont have to make it worse.

As for the activee gm its understandable not to have one in game, but if you really think about it the gm doesn't have to log in every single day maybe like once or twice a week and can host events are talk to the players to see whats going on in the game. If a player has a problem you can just refer them to the support ticket instead of answering to it. This has worked for many other games and it will not stop people from using the support ticket. Also the botters in game are never handled no matter how many support tickets people send because they log off and use a new charc and ip block wont always solve the problem because people can change there ip at will.

1. We did have some cash pets. I have a pinecone pet, but anyway, I agree.
2. Reducing the prices of inventory expansions would be nice.
3. Pieces of the same kind shouldn't stack (example: does not stack with other tables), but I agree that items such as beds and trees should stack, regardless of the buff they provide.
4. Or at least give us new hidden maps so lvl 60+ characters have somewhere to farm.
5. Agree
8. I feel the mini bosses should drop a good amount of weapon/armor dust (like 5).
11. I kind of like the idea of censoring/ removing names in battlesquare and ew matches because it would prevent drama and people targeting or running from certain players; however, I sort of like to know who I kill. This idea seems somewhat similar to how in WoW, hoard and alliance players can't understand each other. Not really sure about this.

Not all rare items are there, such as Vella's Wings. I heard it never drops anymore and the only way to get them is buying them. And yes, I know Vella is not a "rare mini" boss but it would be nice to have special drops from bosses as well.

Or just a default weapon that would have a balanced amount of attack classes for all classes. This "no equips mode" could also be applied to battle square and EW, but there would have to be reduced rewards for winning.

If you leave it up to barunson to balance the weapons, warriors will have a huge advantage in this mode.
