Need for End Game Content

i a do agree for fighting boss we should need a big party like WoW is one joke when your can kill a boss king solo they are suposed to be most powerfull in game

A bunch of us were talking about the Capture the Flag type event. It would be great for high levels and a way to bring the community together. If people were randomly assigned sides they would have to form parties inside and have to strategize on the run. All classes would have jobs in Capture the Flag. Knights, FS clerics, mages and some bourgs would defend; Raiders, scouts, champs would raid the other side to capture the flag. It would be a good idea then that the captured flag would have to come back to your side and as a group you would have to hold on to it for maybe 5 minutes and defend your flag. The present UW map could easily be adapted for capture the flag. Or a new map made with places to hide and sneak in to either side, etc. If people were entered in to each team when they sign up then we could assure even sides. The rewards for winning could still be UW points or some other points that can be used for gear, weapons, etc. Or the reward could just be zulie. Wouldn't really matter since it would be someting fun to do.

The second thing that could be done, and probably eaiser, would be something like what was suggested here. Make the Turak map in Xita a raid type map. Make it so you could have full parties have to defeat monsters all the way to the end. Then have a really tough boss at the end too. Give rewards to all that lived through the fight. Give the fighters an hour or two to compleate it. Make it so you can't do it again maybe even for 2 days. But if the reward is good then people will still want to do it. The monsters you fight could drop cats, gem 2s, stuff like that. But the end boss would have to drop like gem 5s for all or something like that. Or even something you could only get from that boss - new wings, the best cats, stuff like that.

yeah a raid type map could be added for the marsh of ghosts too.......if any of you has gone there before

A number of us "old" players have stuck by Rose for a very long time in hopes of some end game content being delivered. I stil have hopes of that but lately it seems that a lot of what is being added are geared to the lower level characters or new players. I know the latest big patch was Muris which is for higher levels, but once you maxed the new level caps and farmed for a bit in Orlo, the excitement was done. The only "fun" things for high levels to do now is UW (very frustrating and disappointing), TG (lots of drama or boring), farm (been there, done that, have the 15 gear). I would imagine that most of the tickets sent in to WarpPortal involving problems are from drama in TG/DOD or people doing things they shouldn't out of boredom.


If you look at other games, their "end game content" is mainly farming. But they manage to wrap that simple farming in better content. If you ask a Lord of the Rings player what he does after reaching max level he will tell you "i play instances with my friends", but if you ask more deep it boils down he plays them to equip his char, get special items, etc. It means simply farming.
Rose made the mistake that it is TOO EASY (item mall plays a role here too) to get all the gear, so when you have max level, you have already everything or get it pretty fast - and then you are bored.

Please dont get me wrong but i dont think you thought that until the end: What do you want as reward? An item? Then you do the raid 5 times and then you have all of your items.
The only chance is to get an item and/or refine materials, so that you have to raid over and over again. But we all know refining is spoiled by the item mall.

Please dont get me wrong but i dont think you thought that until the end: What do you want as reward? An item? Then you do the raid 5 times and then you have all of your items.

A party have 6 players. The boss will drop 1 or 2 equips. The drop chance for your equip is not 100%. And it could give some points for trading, just like union points.

The developers seem to want our suggestions. I still believe the best way to keep Rose going forward is to reward the long time players with more to do. It would also help retain new players. Once a new player finally gets max level they are looking for the reward of max level - more things to do. As my first post states, people get bored with making new chars and doing nothing but farming. Work on ways to retain players, not how to get new ones. Once people discover that the community base stays and there is a lot to do then new players will come. I used to encourage friends to come join me in Rose. Now I don't bother since I know they will get bored. We want Rose to stay around a long time. I believe the best way to ensure this is to add things for the max level characters to do. You addressed exp, you addressed the mobs not being hard enough (which I still think some are too easy), you are in the middle of addressing balance, you made the costume system which is nice and give variety, you made the new UI to make Rose look more modern, it is now time to address the max level things to keep people in the game.

A way to make the game more interesting for maxed players would be by adding an achievement system. Achievements should be unlocked by succeeding in certain things, regarding General stuff, Quests, Events, Monsters and PvP :wub:

Since you asked me to mom here's some of my suggestions



1. Make unique giant bosses spawn at different times and places, which drop high amounts of cata like (100) or rare items that we never seen before.
2. Elimination chamber ( Another war mode just this time you fight till the time limit and which ever side gets the most proofs wins, and at the end it shows a scoreboard of the highest proofs/top players.)
3. Make questing more interesting with better rewards.
4. Open up a cave for level 200+ that requires a good set of party, and you can go on raid types and explore a whole different enviroment. at the end you fight a boss after beating the first stages, and that last boss drops a very good item or anything else.
5. Dolphin island or how ever its called, activate it and use it as a mini-game world, cart racing etc
6. Bring back Clan War, but this time make it an actual clan war where its players vs players, and make a leaderboard of the top clans in these game modes.

All I have thought about for now, will add more soon.

maybe would be a good idea to handle those "raid-drops" a lilbit like ( dun blame me now) WoW^^

make them account bound or character bound. so u cant " farm those to earn zullie" maybe then we get something rly " rare" ^^

oh .. and to be sure it will be rly hard to get....DELETE DUAL CLIENTING ^^

for most players don't even know the Dolphin Island map, cause this is useless now (as ever).


lol sooo true :dunno:

anyway im bringing this topic up because I like the idea of new End Game Content!
