Question to mods, are there any plans to add another server anytime soon or ever?

i did play in the decard server and if you keep insauting me i'm gonna turn you in to lamb chop witch you can find a recepie in the decard server.

A new server would resolve what alot of people call unfair in the game. (No Heirloom equips,Guardian sets, stacked BSQ(For awhile), EW) We don't have the player base for such an addition atm though, and even if we did the economy would be lackluster for a month or two. (I wouldn't be supprised if a new server does end up with more players in the long run though)

What Rin said is the same thing i feel.Even though being a old player should have privileges. If I came into a game that has been out for years i would still want a chance to get the things the old players have.

The issue of old item advantages was solved before through the introduction of the Dekard server; however, I agree that we don't have enough players for another server. The second server was introduced at the wrong time on THQ, and the introduction of a new server now would be a terrible idea. Btw, aren't server merges kind of common with Gravity games? I would think that voids the argument pertaining to balance/fairness and fresh starts.

Whens the last time you compared stats on new and old? I mean your not the first to say old>new but you gotta think about new items and future.

Yes they are pretty awesome...

Actually server merging is common with most MMOs, sometime communities coming together can really make a game more enjoyable.


New server would be awesome, but not right now, our primary focus is to grow as a community on one server, before trying to create a whole new one.

It's not that difficult to obtain 5k defense without heirloom bone. The new sets enable you to obtain better stats, which the heirloom bone pieces lack. If you're going to compare only defense, it's obviously an unfair comparison, but if you compare the advantages and disadvantages of both, it's fine.

I'm at 4k Def with only +6-7 64 CP and a BD back(which was easy to obtain) zzz

growing as a community is only possible with a flow of new players, which wont happen if you dont advertise in places people are actually gonna look... i'll say it again, newgrounds would be the perfect place for this game, other games like maple, grand chase, wonderking, adventurequest, and many others advertised there with outstanding results, this game panders to the need for something to do, an insane amount of quests, ridiculous amounts of item farming, more quests, pvp, the grind isnt so bad as long as you're actually doing quests... and did i mention there are quite a few quests to do?

Advertising is happening, we have advertised in several print magazines and have launched several online campaigns as well in the past. The next major advertisement push will come with the Chapter 3 update. So keep an eye out for that.

and sadly not many have seen the online advertisements, and magazines were kind of a bad choice... the people who are on their computers tend to be looking for something to do. i, personally, dont know anybody who reads magazines, and im pretty sure if somebody is reading something, they're not gonna see an ad for an mmo and try to look it up, they'll probably forget about it by the time they get back to a computer... just sayin
