can someone tell me how does a commie fair in pvp and pve?
Also, should i get the 35 FOC set or skip until later on? What end game gear set should i use? How much would end game cost? (I can afford to buy some WP)

Commander is a quite cool class and pretty fun to play. It can become really powerful, but needs also a lot of investment, both in time and gear. They can perform well both in PvE and PvP. Although, in PvP and battlefields Commanders gain their true strength only after lvl 74 (when Adamant Mind will grant immunity to stuns). There is a pretty cool guide from FloorMatt with tons of information. I suggest you have a look into it, it is primarily focused on PvP. About PvE build and tactics, it isnt that much different, there isnt a particular guide, but bits and pieces scattered. I have written several articles in the past, in reply to other similar questions, if you search for them you might find some further information in them.
Although Requiem is a free-to-play game, if you really want to boost your character it will be probably inevitable to spend some money, mainly in mall items for improvements. Although, the same could be achieved as free player by buying mall items ingame, but this will be certainly harder. Well, if you aim for the top and best with endgame gear, you should expect to spend quite a bit. Especially since playing Commander requires quite expensive gear and a lot of upgrading.
Well, pls have a look at the articles I mentioned, since it isnt easy to repeat everything here. Will be glad to answer any other specific questions, and all the best building your Commander!

yeah i just read it. one quick question. if i buy the 35 FOC set, it can last me till 65, is it provided that if my 35 set is + 30 and all enchanted? if i want a 35 FOC set that will last me till 65 (for polar ice caps), then how much would the whole set approximately cost? and where can i buy it (i don't have megaphones)
Thanks guys
FoC armour you can buy from any NPC that sells them in most major towns. You will need FoC points of course, plus the lant for each item. If you do not have FoC points yourself, you can either look for these armour pieces in AH, or ask around for them or ask if some people are selling FoC points (so they will buy them for you). In general, for lvl 35 sets you dont need many FoC points and not much lant either.
35 Khrentium set is Ordinary grade and fairly easy and cheap to upgrade. I believe you can make +15 set without too much difficulty. If you manage to get it up to +20 it will be quite good. You dont really need to go all the way to +30, which even with Ordinary items will not be that easy. Also, Khrentium pieces only have 4 enchant slots, so you can possibly fill them with xeons without failing too much. So, an upgraded set like this, could last till lvl 65, if you wish to skip the lvl 55 FoC Gordium one.

alright. i got the 35 FOC set today and made it + 15. i currently am at 40 with around 905 defense, is that sufficient? If it is and as I level i will probably skip straight to the 55 FOC Gordium Set
Sounds OK. Your def will increase substantially anyway as you level up and you can increase your def skills + DNA. As I said before, lvl 55 Gordium set doesnt offer any huge benefits over the lvl 35 one. The lvl 65 one (Sylrium) is certainly better and also consists of 6 pieces, rather than 4. It is a set that several Commanders use for a long time and many levels after 65. Personally, I am not too fond of it, but again it is a personal decision. My personal choice would be a Seamless Polar set. But, again it is your choice and you still have some time until you reach those levels.

i love commies:D esp fail ones who die in 3 bolts XD
Who are they?
If they are such epic fails , they should not even be called Commanders. Maybe baby Defenders taking their first steps in the brave new world of Requiem...
