Is it just me or FPS lags are worse lately? I played this game for years and i never had too much lags, these days i need to restart my clients after 1-2 hours or it is unplayable.

Are you aware of the situation? Is it normal? Because its getting really annoying and im tired. =/

I see, maybe its a reinstall i need. I just patched the game without reinstalling since a couple of weeks.

Wow..i see a difference since i have set 75hz refresh rate instead of 65hz but its just taking more time before i start lagging. I'm lag free for 1hr or 2 then i start lagging and it gets worse and worse. Any miracle solution for this issue?

I run at 60hz.
Also I run my clients at 800x600 but I use up to 6 at once at sometimes. So depending on your size it might never be the same as mine.

I use 1280x960 32 bit and i use up to 3 clients at once only.
My spec aren't that bad for R.O.S.E. I got a AMD Athlon 2800+ 2.6Ghz and my video card is NVDIA Gforce 8600GT.
I need help from anyone to fix my lag. So i can enjoy my gaming experience even more.
I also use GameBooster V2.0 Premium with top performance..you think its caused by that?

What is weird is that when my clients are freshly open, i'm lag free and after a while, i start having little fps lag but after a moments it become unplayable, it get to a point where its a pain to target mobs. =/ I just re start 1 client by exemple and this client is lag free for a while then its the same pattern again..

Sounds like a problem in your connection. I had that happening aswell...it just disappeared one day.

I've been lagging lately too, but I blame it on my (possibly) faulty hardware of my 3 years old laptop that has more or less had a constant runtime (with vacation breaks and many weekend breaks). ROSE is not the only game that is lagging me, and is not the only game that didn't lag before. I can't play [PROTOTYPE] on my pc anymore because of the horrible lag that has come over time.

full screen? Alt-tabbing between full screen clients can
seriously slow down a PC over time.
Just a thought.

When was the last time you maintained you pc ? (Clean temps, defrag, clean registry, scan for malware etc)
When was the last time you formatted your pc ?

Your specs are trashy but they should be able to handle if properly maintained.

I've never done anything but scan my pc for viruses, ect.

full screen? Alt-tabbing between full screen clients can
seriously slow down a PC over time.

Ok i wasn't sure about that. Yes, i'm full screen and i switch screen by minimizing the client and choice what client to open instead of doing Alt-Tab.

A short story. About only 1 month ago, i got a virus and i had to bought a new hard-disk because the virus literally broke the hard disk just by executing a files to download that i thought was just a patch for a game to change the in-game language to french. I started being redirected each time i was going on a web page and when i re started my computer, i got stuck on the first black screen with white text for echec mode.
I got AVG anti-virus free edition.
I use CCleaner for cookies,temp and clean registery.
GameBooster
I installed smart defrag 2.0 to defrag and optimize i hope its good i haven't played yet since i did it yesterday.

When was the last time you formatted your pc ?

My hard disk is new as i said above and my other hard-disk it got broken by a virus.

Try playing with all clients in Window Mode, my old PC would slow down to a
crawl if I played more than one client full screen.

Yeah sorry, i mislead you. I'm on windows mode but the windows takes full screen.

I just checked, my monitor settings and it is set to 1260x960 60hz. Maybe its just my monitor the problem and it should be 75hz?
Does it degrade more the monitor in long-term when you use 75hz instead of 60hz?
I'm wondering.

Don't worry Terrorex, I'm experiencing a hell of lag this past 2 days ( PC hangs for about 10 seconds then turns fine afterwards) Last night the worst of the worst happened, every npc that I speak to or when i'm trying to buy something it will again hangs, actually i'm using 4 clients at that time and all my clients go crashed twice, I tried to use 3 clients ( less lag than 4 clients) then tried 2 clients then it turns OK=NO lags. I think its the the number of CLIENT u use at the same time and depends on the capacity of your PC to handle a number of clients opened.
