So, this is about the merchant training quest, the first part, where you have to level up your enlarge weight limit to 4. I did just that, then talked to Gaurnien, however the quest didn't complete so it didn't remove the quest from my list, or give me the battle axe reward. I did however, comtinue the quest chain forward, I heard Gaurnien talk to me and item appraisal and whatnot, and then he asked me to level up discount to 4, so I now have 2 quests named Gaurnien's lecture, with one unable for me to complete, and another moving along the quest chain just fine.
If someone could tell me how to complete the quest, or if I can, that would be great, I'd kind of like to get that battle axe.

I had this same problem and that quest log is still in both my merchants quest window.
