i have played this game a long time, which im sure most of you know me by now.
but i am kinda of tired of everything always being.. lets say messed up.

I am proposing that Gravity shuts down rose for awhile and fixes some of the "big" problems.

*edit* honestly, i wouldnt mind a little time away from rose if they fixed some stuff, it would be worth it in the long run.

I've been thinking this for a while now but I'm not sure if it would even help because they would still have to work on developing all the other games under them as well and still find the problems and fix them..

True. I wonder how long it would take them to do. ... -_- Do they HAVE more than 8? Honestly, I wish they would shut down one game at a time for a month (presumably the ones in the forums) and just work on that game. They can fix, develop, add, subtract and when we come back the month theyre finished we can give them our input.
They need more of a monthly update than a weekly one. That would make their quality better than their quantity and honestly i'd much prefer that..

All the good dev works on Ragnarok. Rose has two devs, one is part_time.
Ragnarok pays the bills. They have a subscription server there, and it has a good community. Even the people on the forums behave .. differently rhan rosarians.

Rose is going to fail ;(
But you have to learn to appreciate that they still bought it, they still make it free for all of us, and the two (or one and a half) devs do what they can do make this game have SOME weekly update (last week, notwithstanding). This game isn't rly a money maker. It's like the pity puppy after a terrible, terrible date. The day they shut down rose to 'fix' things is the day rose never comes back.

Even though we all want a better experience with this game you have to take it for what it is (or isn't).

Looks like Ragnarok is their Cash Cow, while rose is ending up as a Dog.

With a bigger variety of item in the Item Mall they could earn some more money on this game. They would do really good adding alot more costumes. bring back the Item Mall weapons and god knows that else. The only reason why I would buy something in Item Mall is because I need some Plutorunes, Venarunes or Teletickets.

All the other items are fun of course but people just need more to choose from.

What the problem of this game is that it isn't done yet. It's still some kind of beta. If they would make the leveling better, balance all classes, fix all bugs, add more quests, etc, they would have a game to promote. With a bit of marketing they should then be able to attract much more players, because I still think this game has potential. But as long as they haven't 'finished' the game yet, players that try this game will eventually leave. Rose has been in this vicious circle for the last years.

I wouldn't mind spamming the inlog button, because 3 channels are 'Exceeded'.

"I'll just paste what I have posted on another thread:"

The only way to rose have a new beginning is launching a new server like pre-evo system with intense publicity, like of a enterily new mmorpg. This is the only way the gravity can make a good development team working on the game, continuing what triggersoft has began.

Why pre-evo system?
Only who played knows. Evolution was the ruin of Rose. The drastic lost of players was in Evolution release. After that, the game just did't stop changing, trying to find balance, while the remaining players was slowly leaving the game.

The problem of Rose Online is the time it was made. Just after iRose, the game was splitted into several new servers around the world. At that time doing a free-to-play game was risky.
If it would be released today in a unique and free-to-play server, then surely triggersoft would still developing a rich and complete game.

Or everyone loses all and rose starts again with great power, or it'll still forever as it's now.
