yeah all MMo's have gold sellers, so why pass the problem of solving the issue to us your playerbase? wouldn't that be ironic that the game is already dying from the slow updates and then this?

Major Déjà vu.

It honestly wasn't that bad with the other updates. I mean, I don't play emporia and it -was- bugged...so it didn't bother me too much...I didn't use randomizers back when they were removed so it wasn't too bad..and really nothing compares to this.

I'll say it again, a good reason I loved this game and recommended it to friends was because it didn't require you to spend cash shop points to even compete with others. Now that that's gone, I hardly have much reason to stay, except my guild. But who knows how long that'll last...they aren't too happy about this change either.

I've been a devout player, but this is making -me- have second thoughts.


being another main contributor for the wiki I might as well chime in.

In short, this thread is essentially the requiem for this game.

There'll be no way for new users to play end game other than using the cash shop. The huge income from this game, that mainly came from end game cashers, will now be slowed to nearly a halt and forces new experimental users to compensate for it. Not only that, but it also looks like you're going to end up loosing a good portion of your already rather small player base requiring much more advertisement that may or may not go unnoticed to compensate for it.

Betrayal, scamming, and uncertainty all wrapped into one. It's almost poetic considering the main reason for doing this was to get rid of scammers.

So when is the option to sell in game items for Item mall cash going to be added?


They're already losing players for this.


I don't think the people making these decisions realize how retarded they are and how much they a truly screwing everyone over. And if they do, they clearly don't care.

what's the point of trying to remove that 1 gold seller in ch3 POTW just to mess up the game

LOL. This doesn't do anything to stop the IM exploiters from profitting from their ill-gained IM goods! They can simply megaphone "S> IM 1:1" and utilize the old gift4gold method of IM selling. You guys are inviting scamming, widening the gap between cash users and non-cash users, and losing a huge source of income (non-cash users are significant as indirect contributors) with this "update". As a non-cash user myself, I am disappointed at this decision and I hope a better resolution is introduced quickly.

Hey Hatsur or whomever this may concern,

If you're trying to stop gold sellers, maybe you can have the consumable cash items UNSELLABLE. Because that's how they were selling the cheap insurances/randoms. However, you should keep the IM items TRADE-ABLE, that way, if the gold seller wants to get some in-game gold, he/she has to make the effort to find a buyer. And it keeps the players that don't spend real life $$ on the game happy. Just giving some possible alternatives -_-

If the problem is that players are committing credit card fraud, purchasing IM points, selling consumables for gold, and then selling the gold for money, then doesn't that mean allowing us to trade IM points would mean that the fraudulent players can simply buy whatever they want with IM points, sell the items for gold, and then sell the gold for money? How is allowing us to trade IM points even a possible solution? I would think it would make things easier for the gold sellers.
