I'd like to wish many of you luck in trying to hunt and upgrade your own items. Silly little things trying to place the blame and saying the sellers are the ones at fault.

No. Prices have dropped. A lot. Sometimes in excess of 50% or more. If you still feel entitled to a better discount, then you should probably be out there farming said item. This is the mentality that is destroying this game's market. Your want for nothing less than instant gratification is what led us into this mess in the first place.

Dragon event recently made a bunch more of those appear so no surprise. (I still have 5 in my storage from the dragon event before the last one. Planning to make shields for mvps.)
And gunslinger items I doubt sell well due to everyone but expanded getting 3rd classes.

Well Samuel tell me what I should be selling then?
Because the cards I've found while leveling surely aren't getting sold, neither are any of the equips(even from low-end MvP or +7'd) or cooking consumables.

^Well I found on Ymir if your a level 105-120 RK CS training at rachel 3 can be pretty rewarding. 1hitko, WSS for 2-3k, bloody runes npc for 1k+, hodremlin card nets you an instant 90m, and the buildup of prickly fruits from beholders overtime can be sold for 200k+ each.

I know this is circumstantial, and I'm really just here to gloat, but I sold a Big Ribbon (this thing) for 5 million yesterday. I bought the thing at the height of the pre-renewal economy for around 50,000. It's a totally useless item that, apparently, someone thought was worth 5 million...probably cause some schmo is trying to sell one for 40 million and mine came in on ragial as being 70% below market price. But still, just goes to show that at least the buy low/sell high crowd is still alive and well. Just keep at it.

Stone Buckler was heavilly nerfed due to renewal. it now have the same defense as Buckler[1], and the 5def from the bonus is nothing~

That's partly why it's worth nothing.

I've still got the ten or so stone bucklers from the dragon event from before renewal and then they had another dragon event.
Yeah the market is flooded with them.

It also doesn't help that as a shield it doesn't have very much defense.
The additional defense for the set, and if you're a swordie another addition to defense, is supposed to make up for not being able to wear higher defense armor, but the set bonus wasn't updated to reflect the new defense formula so the bonus defense is pathetic.
Even if you claim to use it for the 3% reduction from large monsters the round buckler has so much more defense that it doesn't matter.

Since str isn't as important anymore that bonus is thrown out the window too.

All that leaves is the mdef for the set, and there's better equips for mdef than this.

It's sad but the magni set just isn't useful anymore, and that is another reason why the items have dropped so drastically in price.

I certainly agree here, some items translated fine to renewal, other item effects turned entirely worthless. magni set use to be an ok mid-level item set, now just use a silver guard and a punete robe or something and your much better off..items need to be examined and re-evaluated badly..something as simple as the +12 bonus def (for solder classes) to a +12% could be an improvement (since % bonuses are the only ones that seem to matter now)

I have such mixed feelings with the drop event (2X) comming today.
On one side I'm all "yaaaaaaaaaaay time to hunt some stuff", but on the other I feel like it's "more stuff I can't get sold to anyone bah".

I guess I should hunt some "odd" stuff that usually is hard to get and low-ish level.
Any suggestions?

How about hunting stuff that people actually want. Like one item i saw that has gone up recently was the moonie dagger,
I mean alot of stuff has gone down, and not to say im happy about(Go Cheap lol) it but hopefully if new people start playing this game and thats a big if they wont be so fast to quit as they did in the past....

Moonlight Flower is very much camped on Valk, not only that but even with gum and the event a 4% chance means you'd need a lot of luck for it to pay off.

But hypothetically speaking lets say I pop a convex mirror and am on the map when it spawns, I can tell you now that one of the God/MvP item wearing players(likely the genetic that has camped her for weeks now) will show up and 2shot it before I can finish saying "Spawned" on vent.
