"Patch Error: Old file not found. However, a file of the same name was found. No update done since file contents do not match. (Data\ACTOR.VDK)"
I would receive this message at any point in the download, from 0% to 60%. Is there any way to fix this? If it helps, my OS is Windows XP Media Center Edition 2006.

the Alt download in my sig is a more up to date for those that need to reinstall.
the web client doesn't require any installations or patching and I suggest that for those having issues installing.

same with me but my data is (data/ACTOR.MAP), so what should i do??I just re-installed Requiem with a brand new client on the website after having the game uninstalled for about a year. Once I got to the launcher I'd get an error;

i waited for several hours but didnt moved an inch... so i tried to patch it manually and i get this...
because the browser game using facebook.. shows me this...

Im having the same problem, but when it goes to download the patch, here frozen in 2% and some times 5%.
I could go up yo 21%, but just once, and it frozen again, but for this, i had to uninstall the game, and install it again.
Can someone tell us why is this heappening? And what to do to solve this? Im about 2 days trying to play and until now i cant =\

k so the links are broken, so please update,Manual patching is recommended for those that get a "Failed Patch Download" error and are not able to download the patch through the patcher due to either download timeouts or heavy traffic.
The newest Season 2 Client Requiem: Memento Mori is avaiable for download and we suggest you use this rather than installing an older version of the game to prevent possible patching errors: http://www.playrequi...ntDownload.aspx
*This client is patched upto 449 and you will not need the previous files if you have to manually patch.
For a fresh install of the R:MM client, patches 450 to the current is available here:

For those having trouble with the latest patch, it is available here:
MediaFire : Patches 513 ~ 520
If you are trying to update an older version of the client, you will need to use the new UPDATERUSA.exe which connects to the new Patch Server as the older version will not connect and create an Error 06 message and you won't be able to update. To solve this, we suggest to update to the latest client.
i just downloaded the client from the main site so is it updated till 449? so do i use these?
also where shud i extract them to?

I manage to run the updater repeteadly after it had shown various error or stuck I simply just being stubborn and restart the updater again after error message.
Up till a point up ..000590.rtp, but then it had the diffrent type of error
old file not found but a file with the same name was found. No update done since the file contents does not match.
while it was checking data/goods.vdk
It stuck there permanently now, tried restarting the updater but stuck at this level not budging, Okay seems like this is it for me for full client,
can anyone help please ?

Edit: I keep trying stuff. Uninstalled and reinstalled like 4 times now. The updater says nothing but it gets to 100%..

network error? must be your connection :/i have a problem with the client download, i always got the netword error and have to restart the download, im only got downloaded to the file named media9.cab i have ( installer, media2-9.cab) i dont if this files will help me with the installer ? or maybe not, some1 help me pleaseeeeeeeee!
I have IDM here (free) buzz me up if you need a copy to download.
