So i was able to receive the items to tame a munak, but when i used them, it failed all 3 times. And i thought ok, the wiki says i dont need to tame it. So i go to Chee Joo, and nothing happens. I wait for a few people to pass by, and they say that the wiki is wrong, and i do need to tame the munak. So i though, ok no problem, i'll just go back and get more taming items from the guy. So i went back, and he just says to go away, cause i'm disturbing him. I was like, oh mayb its cause i still have the quest he gave me. So i proceed to delete it from my quest log by right clicking on it. i talk to him, and he says the same thing, go away blah blah blah. Does this mean i can no longer proceed with the valentines day event?

TL:DR Couldnt tame Munak,
deleted quest to try and get more taming items.
NPC wont give me quest again.
Does this mean i can no longer finish Valentines day event?

I suspect that you're out of luck on that character. Try doing it on another one.

the sad part is he is the only character level high enough to do it. oh well, i guess i'll have to wait till next year, but gosh, i could have used that 600k xp at the end of this chain quest.

You've still got almost a week left of the event. It shouldn't be too hard to get one (or more) characters to level 40 in that time.

What the Wiki guide meant was that you don't have to tame the Munak yourself. You do, however, need the Munak egg to continue the quest. You will either have to buy/borrow one from someone, or hunt/buy tames and tame one yourself.
