So ever since the first Kryos patch, when i open dragon saga from patcher, or release folder, it says DragonSaga (I/N) has stopped working.....
really annoying, and I really wanna play right now. Anyone having this problem? Help, please.

EDIT I have windows vista in case any of you were wondering.

Sorry mate, sadly, at this moment, nobody would care to your problem, since they are too busy playing the game.

I know its rather annoying, but i'm almost giving up to ask for any help in the forums, since you always receive help after your problem is solved. Try submitting a ticket to Support, and they may help you, but don't spam in forums desperatly for the help of any player, because only a few ones care about the other's problems.

I had an issue which my screen became totally pink and I couldn't move at all, endless falling out of the map. This is an old issue which people posted about it long time ago, but since I never had experienced this issue nor knew the solution to help the players suffering from it, I never looked at the posts.

My own solution from that problem is to reinstall the whole game. I'm starting from 0.0 and so far my patching proccess is taking 2 hours, and i'm not even at 50%!

I think your problem can still be solved, without needing a reinstall though. Try to delete or rename the file named "patcher.id" in your Dragon Saga folder. After that, launch the launcer again, and it may ask you to patch the client, if everything works fine, your client will be patched with the newest version and fix, and you may be able to play normally.

Unless you have the issue I had with a pink background...

Good luck with that anyway.

But like hell I'm reinstalling this. If anyone has any ideas, throw 'em my way.

YEAAAAAAAAAAA i fixed this problem!!!!!
delete patch.id
go to recycle bin
restore it
then start the game normally

EDIT: wait wdf it stopped working again

removing patch.id can help in some cases.

That would be the last step you could take, if it doesn't work for you then you will need to reinstall, as the client has become corrupted while it was patching.

Removing, deleting, renaming, moving to another folder. Any of those things would work.

Actually you won't need to, the process of the patcher would cause it to make a new one. It takes a little time, but can work for some.

DISREGARD THIS, I yeah no.

Same thing as derpstorm, it worked, but then it stopped working. It crashed after I tried to login, then it went back to throwing the same error.

Yeah.. that is exactly what i explained above.

patcher.id needs to be removed so your client starts to re-patch itself again. It will create lists and stuff, what may take a while, but it may solve the problem of a reinstallation.

removing patcher.id works just like reinstalling the game, since it will start to patch all over again.

I just don't understand why my client had the pink background... my client patch is about to end.. after 3 hours, all way from 0.0 version.

Calanor, can you give me any help on what the pink screen can be? I'm about to check how it does in my brand new reinstalled Dragon Saga now. If the problem persists..... idk what to do anymore.

I have no clue on the pink, I can take some guesses.

Usually pink is used for the art properties for alpha layers, it maybe caused because something in how the game was loading the art didn't patch correctly. This is just a shot in the dark honestly though.

dammit.... it created a new patch.id, but it still doesnt work. ima just uninstall/reinstall..........
its much easier i think. Im probably not gonna be able to play today anyway.... if I reinstall i can at least play tomorrow.

hey guys...... does just uninstalling the client then going to the installer to install it work?
or do I have to delete all files and then download the installer again from the gateway.
