Is that old monitor a crt one? If it is you can try forcing it to run at an higher resolution than the maximum one reported by your graphic card. Anyway, what resolution are you using? 800x600? And what's the maximum resolution that you can choose on Windows and Rose?

Yes Crt. My cat has a big bum. He likes to swing his tail across my screen at the most inconvenient of times. Oh! Im digressing.
Im using resolution in game 1280x960 and in Windows 1280x720 I tried to change the resolution few days ago ingame but the game crashed.

Do you usually play with the inventory window always opened? And when you said that you used the skill bars at the bottom of the screen, you meant like one on the side of another or one on the top of another?

This (with the exception of the inventory window, which I only open when I really need it - in that place is usually the party) is how I usually play:

I usually play at 1280x720 (Window mode) on my laptop and I kinda like the new skillbars (having some extra space to put skills and so on).

Yea Inventory open. To be honest, i never thought of throwing food on my skill bar...Naughty=Noob
Play with skill bars, one on top of the other.
I love the extra skill bar space just cant seem to adapt the length for my screen :/
Hoping they sort the crashing soon, so i can change the resolutions and see if thats better.

i like the new ui nice and clean genesis and the rose development team did a very good job bringing the look of rose to the new millennium with 4xAA the transparency looks so clean

Let's hope you won't need to tweak the cat!
If they don't fix that crash, you can always try changing the resolution on the SevenHearts.ini file (it's on the Rose main folder) - make sure if you're using full-screen to use resolutions that are supported by your graphic card / monitor, or else you'll probably get an error.

How about you just move the cat somewhere else and get a good lcd. You're talking about suffering graphics issues because of a dumb cat. Also, using much more hydro, easier on your eyes due to less radiation etc.

I was having the same issues on a wide screen two years old flat monitor.
It actually turned out that the issue i was suffering, needed a simple fix and that was for the Devs to fix the crashing issues when trying to change resolution.
Thank you Joaomaradao for your tip to change resolution. I just went in game after todays patch and changed the resolution. My skill bar and inventory are now fitting perfectly at the bottom of my screen.

Just to add to problems. The exclamation mark in chat (at least clan chat) is faded looking.
