I've played pRO since 2003 but I moved to the US recently. So I can't find a way to download pRO in here. So I've decided to start anew in iRO.
I'm hoping to find a guild willing to take me in despite me starting from scratch, I'm aiming to make a Priest since it's one of my main focuses aside from Sins.
Hope my future guild posts.
I'll be on all day checking for any replies and thinking of a good build to focus on for a bit.

I'm not sure if you would want to play a priest (my main is an AB which I stopped playing already because the only way I can level is through leeching.) I mainly play a genetic. You might want to consider classes that can solo like swordsman classes, etc.
I'm part of my own little alt guild because I don't really play much but...
Try pm-ing ~kinison~ in game. He has a nice little friendly guild who can help you.
For levelling purposes, I can boost you and stuff. Just leave your in game name and I'll pm you when I'm on.
I hope you find iRO fun. It was fun for me up to a few months ago...http://forums.warpportal.com/public/style_emoticons/default/happy.gif

Priests are difficult to level in Renewal due to the slaughter of the party system, but they are definitely wanted for guilds and parties (when they do happen). Play what you like to play, though!
I represent Infinity. We're celebrating our two-year anniversary this month, so we've been around for awhile, but we are still very open and willing to accept just about anyone.
If you're able to WoE on Saturdays that would be great! We do have a policy regarding attendance, but it's pretty lenient, so as long as you let us know what's going on everything should be fine. xD
If you have any other questions you can PM me here or in game.
Good luck in the search!

I might change back a diff class, cuz Renewal kinda does prove to be hard for FS classes. XD

But yeah like what Ralis said, play what you want to play. I've always played priest but Renewal made it extremely hard to level. So my AB is stuck at the lowly level where she is and is only useful for warping, lex-ing and boosting other players XD. But you could still play priest... Sacrament is extremely useful when you get it and makes you a more desirable party member. But it's a long grind to that.
Anyway, try the Eden quests. I hear they're really good exp and give good gears for new chars

I might shift to a different class for now then. Until I discover a new way to level an Aco.. It's been a while since I've played.

Well I haven't tried levelling an Aco come Renewal... I used to heal bomb zombies before... but with the new heal formula I'm not sure if that would still be a viable levelling option.
The thing that made it so hard to level is the new exp table. You need to be around 10 levels lower or higher( or was it 15?) to get the full amount of exp from that monster. Once you've levelled significantly higher than the monster, you would only get a few of the exp you used to... It's really hard for FS-ish aco/priest builds cause we can only kill a few decent undead monsters (I used to level on zombies, firelocks then anubis). But now that isn't an option...
Anyway, you're a thief now so good luck XD. You'll probably find the Eden Quests easy enough
