Itâ??s only been like 5-6months since the server went on air so before its too late i think some changescould be made to make it a DIFFERENT server without upsetting the currenteconomy and players playing it



the suggestions includesthe follows





1)refine related





REMOVE +15 andmake +10 max refine (READ AHEAD..there is more than it meets the eye)

i know sucha change could be catastrophic to the economy so it should happensystematically

one monthprior change NPC prices to be equal to the current market prices for any beyond10 refine..............

eg.. all +11 for 300mill

+12 for 600 mill

+13 for 800 mill

+14 for 1000 mill

+15 for 1200 mill

(Those who donâ??t sell willhave +10 when their equips of higher refine degrade)

One month later peoplemight have sold them or can just watch their items degrade when NPC pricescould be returned to normal



AT THIS STAGE



Reduce effects of all catalysts so that +10 would become asdifficult to get as +15

Simultaneously after every 4 months or so add one more tothe max refine

(The idea is that a person spends 2 months farming theequips,2 months enjoying the supremacy)

Each time buff up the catalysts such that the max refinethen is pretty difficult to obtain (which will mean the previously maximumrefine will get much easier to get)

(contrary to the current +15s which are rather easierâ?¦think2 months to get all their equips up 1 refine)

Once you reach +13 for max refine â?¦after that add +15 suchthat 14+ follows a similar step as adding a new refine as was done with theothers

And +15 would be that real thingâ?¦.it should be reallydifficult so that only a handful of people will have access to themâ?¦.

When a smooth transition from 10 to 15 has been achieved

+14 should be around doubly as difficult to get as 15s are

While a +15 should be special (exampleâ?¦you will have to do aspecial quest get the only catalyst that can be used for refine which wonâ??tmake your success rate very high either like 5% or so) also once +14 the equipshould not degrade provided a Pluto rune is being used









2)lvling up andQuests

draconis is a new server and there are going to be manypeople lvling up

unlike leonis where everyone is 200+ draconis could do witha new lvling system

pickupâ??s solution to it (in his lvling post) is the most relevantone in this case

but if the devs are lazy they could just reduce the EXP atMC and DOD,

and a little EXP reduced in Prison

on the other hand increase Exp in LUNA and eldeon by 6000

and increase EXP gain gained from doing union quests

and highly increase rewards or Exp gain from other quests




3) UPDATES



i think that leonis should run 1 week behind draconis

add new updates to draco.....if they work well add them to leo next week

if not then you can just scrap them

this will allow for only 50% damage to the gameplay in case the idea fails

Market economy control by you?lawl...

And if it happen like you says..Those people would think that Draconis is a weak-developed server than Leonis..This would made them flock to Leonis..Is this a good change?

Even though I do not play Draconis I think it is a bad idea.

1)refine related

On paper this idea sounds good. It would be a nice change to have 10+ gear almost impossible to achieve and 15 so rare that you thought it was an "extinct" feature. But, I don't think the community or economy would do too well with this. You would have people rage quitting left and right and others would be scrambling to sell it before the deadline or refining their equip just to [easily] sell it at high prices to the npc, which will make prices to everything skyrocket due to the decreased value of our currency.

2)lvling up andQuests

I checked out the Leonis server the other day and I have to say you are wrong. I spent the majority of my time helping a player new to Rose with concepts, navigating, and leveling, among other things. Although a lot of people are max level in Leonis, there are still those that are starting fresh, whether they've played on draconis or never at all. If there is to be a change in the leveling system, it should be on both the servers to give equal playing opportunities to those that have yet to even get the second job on their main character.

3) UPDATES

I personally don't want to be used as the "jew" server in this scenario. If you want to perform experiments on my server become a subject yourself... We all know that if something goes [even seriously] wrong we have 7 IM patches+ before anything even starts to get changed. I agree that they should have a beta testing server (or w/e) that people can give their feedback on before they shove it in the game, but I don't think they should turn a server that people already play on into a test run just for the convienence of the other server. anyhow have you ever heard the quote "if you want something done right, do it yourself"? Just because draconis members like it doesn't mean leonis members will as well..

So to boil it all down:
a) Refine system needs to be changed, but not the way you are suggesting.
:huh: Leveling system needs to be changed, but for both servers, not just the one.
c) A testing server should be added to the game for players to give their feedback on.
d) Eventually (in the far future after game is finished and popular) a new server should be added, different from Leonis and Draconis, that focuses on questing as the prime form of leveling instead of grinding. (mind you in far far far far far far FAR Future!) <<--- Mods FAR FAR FUTURE!!
