The current plan is to choose 15 lucky concepts that were submitted up to now, and get these sent up to be made into in-game items by HQ. We plan to have more similar events in the future, so if your idea does not get choosen, keep refining them for the next time! More details as events develop...
Winners will be contacted as we submit the ideas up to HQ. You may be asked to clarify, help develop additional arts, and consulted on the winning design.
Official results will be announced as the finished headgears are completed and tested.
This thread will be closed in a bit, we will create a new subforum in March when we have the next contest!

It should be like the card design contest, once we have settled on the 15, there will be an announcement, and then they would be sent to kRO.Will we know the winners as you choose them? Or will we need to wait for the headgears to be completed before you announce them?

How about you guys send them to kRO first, THEN once we get the actual headgears, announce the winners. Beats the usual of announcing and then waiting years for the headgears to come to iRO.It should be like the card design contest, once we have settled on the 15, there will be an announcement, and then they would be sent to kRO.

Speaking with Heimdallr, it looks like we might be doing it more like you described, rolling these out as we are able to get them made by HQ.How about you guys send them to kRO first, THEN once we get the actual headgears, announce the winners. Thank you. It's getting pretty tiring to hear announcements of things, but not actually seeing things get implemented until WAY later.Speaking with Heimdallr, it looks like we might be doing it more like you described, rolling these out as we are able to get them made by HQ.

I know last time Heimdallr said some winning designs could not be made. But that doesn't mean they still didn't win. If you guys wait to announce the winners until the gears are made, won't that affect such cases? There may be some winners that won simply because a better design wasn't possible in the current system.

I'm looking forward to seeing the results either way.

Thanks a lot for your support, very appreciatedSome of Allysia and Kiehl's headgears better get made or I will be so sad
It's not a problem even if they are not selected, there are so many good entries in the contest that will be challenging for CMs/GMs to make their choice.

Ah, post it if you can. We're still in deliberations.so sad I just finished my ideas today and it closed yesterday! orz Ah well . next time I suppose hehe
The current plan is to close out this event and create a new contest and subforum in March.
Although the winners will be officially announced when the headgears are completed, we will be contacting the winners as we submit the concepts up to HQ (they will just need to keep it secret, keep it safe).

Just for the ones, who didn't win, to know that they don't have to wait any longer ^^

What does it matter? We're waiting for something either way.Well you might not mind waiting till WAY later to find out who won but some of us are to impatient to wait that long...

Wait, what?
Let me get this straight. This contest will re-open in March for more submissions? Because if that's not the case, I'll be very, very disappointed. I have very many submissions that I wanted to enter in this contest but haven't submitted because the rules stated we had until "The end of February." Not "ambiguous day in the middle of February that we won't care to establish beforehand, but will save it as a nice 'surprise' instead."

Making this event some kind of regulary is anything but great. Where's the problem? :3
Btw... what's with the unknown prices that were announced? XD

Try to see it positive: you have plenty of time to do your submissions and show them in march!
That's IF I understood it correctly and there will be another Headgear contest in March.
Edit: I submitted whatever I could, albeit rushed, and hopefully they'll be considered.

I hope they at least announce that winners have been chosen, even if we wont find out which ones they are.
2#
I also hope that next time around they limit submissions to like 3-5 per person cause some people are going over kill, my self included.
That way some of these really good ideas get used and people don't sit around making 1000s of head head gears.
It's like each contest they sit and come up with 50 ideas.. so by the time it gets to even the 4th contest theres gonna be 50000000000000000000 head gears to choose from.
lets keep this simple?..maybe? so people submit their best of their best.
rather then 100,000 attempts to winning.
Wait, what?
Let me get this straight. This contest will re-open in March for more submissions? Because if that's not the case, I'll be very, very disappointed. I have very many submissions that I wanted to enter in this contest but haven't submitted because the rules stated we had until "The end of February." well id guess there gonna keep head gear contest popping up.
And with all the submissions, you gotta think its better for them to have ended it soon b4 they got over loaded with 1000's of choices.
I mean some people submitted like 500 head gears,I think thats a bit much... so hopefully this will like you said it will reopen in march or at least a few months down the road so that
maybe something else like weapons or armor or something can be set up.
