And besides, who uses swords for cart cannon?! I thought everyone used either hurricane fury or mjolnir for CC.
Also, wrong forum, moving to genetic class discussion.

Str/int effect the damage of Cart Cannon.
But Idk about other skills =D probably with Acid Bomb as well working the same way CC does.

I assume if you're using a sword, then yes. Same with Axe Mastery, if you're using an Axe then the mastery will take affect and applies with Cart Cannon.

you make an interesting point as does Dr.Azzy

Does mastery damage work with skills now?
I thought it was added to damage AFTER everything else, so like, a skill that did 5000 damage with no mastery would do 5000+30=5030 damage if you had 30 mastery attack (i forget how much both sword and axe mastery add). I'm not 100% certain that that's how it works on skills in general, though i think it is.

If I may add 2 questions, does axe mastery affect swords too? I think I heard something like that before. Also does sword mastery give attackspeed boost with sword? I might have read that this effect was broken but im not sure

Sword mastery adds 50 weapon ATK Azzy, it seems like it is treated a lot like striking meaning the difference without / with can ( and is ) 2-3K at mid levels ( and I assume higher at higher levels ) with swords if I remember my testing right. As for who uses swords? Me for one, my twin edges are quite nice thank you very much, even with the element reduction and using shadow ( lower ATK ) cannon balls I can hit gold dragons for ~10-11K, higher if I use cursed water and iron cannon balls. Many of the thornwallers in WoE will cast with hammer then switch to the KVM sword for the much greater damage it does as well. The issue is, both cart cannon and acid bomb have epicly strange damage formulae.

Yes. That is the only reason I have both on my genetic. There is a noticeable difference in damage with both cart cannon and acid bomb if you leave either out.So does that mean that sword mastery and axe mastery atk stack with a sword... that would be 80 atk...

+30 (Axe & Sword Mastery)
+50 (Sword Training)
+50 (Cart Boost)
= 130 ATK? Nice .

So we got...
+30 (Axe & Sword Mastery)
+50 (Sword Training)
+50 (Cart Boost)
= 130 ATK? Nice .
Yeah, and the bonus is ( at least currently ) cart boost adds the +50 ATK to anything. I can go to mandragoras for stem hunting and average ~800 damage per swing without cart boost, with cart boost I average ~980-1020 per swing even though cart boost is supposed to only add the attack with cart skills like cart revo / tornado / cannon. I assume that means it also adds the +50 attack with acid bomb as well then, just never tested it since I am always in boost mode :-P
