Hey, first post.

Anyway, it's been a thing for a while that for people with nvidia graphics cards have an issue that their HP bar covers their name.

Like this:


It'd be great if the HP bar could be made skinnier so the name is sitting on top of it instead of inside it.
I've seen a couple of mods in other forums which already do this, but they don't seem to work with the new UI that we have.

It's a bug that appears when using a NVIDIA GeForce graphic card. Nothing can be done about it other then updating your software. Maybe it'll work.

I have a brand new (less than 2 years old) custom made PC with a top of the range NVIDIA card and the newest drivers.
I still have this issue so It isn't fixed by upgrading.

I also have a much older PC (also with NVIDIA card) and it works fine on that one

It would actually be pretty easy to modify the GUI skin to make the health bar skinnier and shifted down a bit as Xuen suggested.

Yup. I saw my name for the first time recently as I got a Radeon 5770 IceQ 1gb to replace my Nvidia 8600GS 256mb.

It's your vid card doing that, as they said.

I'm mostly using a computer with a GeForce GT220 and I don't get the bug
