What are dirty stones, runes, and zodiacs used for? I have cleaned them off but what purpose do they serve? I have so many I'm wondering if I should just sell them.

they are used in crafting and endowing equips and gems

How am I supposed to use them? When I upgrade? I wish there was a guide. I am a soldier so I don't think I can craft gems.

all those dirties are for artisans. you should jut sell them to the nearest npc since you have no use for them

why would you sell them to an NPC when player shops will give so much more for them?

yups! dirty heart worth at least 85k-90k, crystal go as much as 9k and zodiac 10k.
