An idea I had for a new RO mechanic

I was thinking about the whole cities and continents and if you do the quests you'd clearly see that some continents are kinda like in war with other continents and some are in neutral alliance with either.
For example Rune midgards kingdom always seems to have some kind of war against the Arunafeltz States. And then there is the Republic of Schwartzvald who seem in neutral position with either.
So... my idea is why not make some kind of citizenship system.
Where you can choose to be from the Rune-Midgard Kigdom, Arunafeltz or Schwartzvald.
And if you're a citizen from the Rune-Midgard and enter a territory of the Arunafeltz you can kill or be killed there, since both are enemies.
And maybe give some prices for killing enemies of your empire.
And for those who do not wish to join that, they can always be from the Schwartzvald Republic and be neutral with everyone.
It would be like a big pvp system.
And it would also follow some of the history I've played throughout the game.

And maybe people from different empires would wear different sprites... say a RK from rune midgard would look different from one of Arunafeltz...

So yeah, they were thought of but never came to be.

You pay attention to the storyline? hahaSo I came up with a new system of pvp that maybe could be added.

Interpreting the Prontera church people as worshiping God (when they're really worshiping Odin) and reasoning that they translated Creator as Biochemist because of Christian ideals isn't exactly building the mythology of RO. It's one thing to modify game mechanics for a certain audience, but when you're changing the very lore of the game itself to suit the audience, it's kind of disappointing. The storyline is pretty rich and I think throughout each release the GMs have done a good job keeping elements of the storyline running and building the "mythology" and specifics of the RO world through their translations.

This is why Gravity sucks. If they actually stuck to the Ragnarok manhwa the game is based off of, we wouldn't have this problem.Well, it's also kind of bizarre to have crusaders with crosses and whatnot, when the bands that play modern heathen music are singing about things like "We shall never bow down to the holy cross."
