So I decided to remake my mage and naturally I would start off in Geffen since I'm a mage. One of the first things I do is travel over to Prontera, so that I can save. As soon as I step in, I notice that Theres a group of dead people by the entrance. Next thing I know, a Rune knight Rushes in and does that Dragon Breath skill and next thing I know, I'm dead..... Great! now I have to Travel all the way to Prontera again!

So I finally manage to save in prontera, and I decide to go hunt. I die at my hunting ground, and respawn back in pront and its a normal map. I go to the south pront fields to ask for a heal, I go back into town again, and Boom. Im dead again.

Is this a sick sad joke from Gravity or something? Becasue its not funny.

It must be amazing to lvl (or bot) all the way to your 3rd job class, just to kill unsuspecting novices and 1st class jobs.. When Im more lvled, You WILL see me in PVP and you WILL go down >

it's an april fool's joke. Apparently using the portals to enter pront warps you to the pvp pront map. You'll have to use the kafras to get to pront or use a bwing.

I was stunned the firsst time I was killed. I thought I was starting to lose my mind. I was seriously thinking "Did I really just enter PVP when im not even lvl 10 yet?"

I was actually trying to recall, going to the PVP npc lol.

Even better they managed to glitch the Priest Job Change Quest with this April Fool event. Now all we get is a bunch of lost acolytes getting teleported to the PvP Prontera for no reason in the middle of the zombie room.

It's great they want to have fun with us due to April Fool and such, but.... I don't think prontera is a good place to do it. It's just gonna make newbies run away (As if this game has enough newbies to begin with, when 70% of the populaion are bots/botted their way to 3rd job.)

Yea I found that more annoying then anything. I ran from Alberta-> Prontera just to be met with a ranger punching me down. ontop of that i make the trip a 2nd time and was barely able to click on the kafra to save.

What a stupid idea! I had to walk from veins to prontera on my high novice just after I reborn because I was saved there from leveling on stapos, I finally make it to pront, try to save and boom dead. I respawn in veins and walk all the way back, same again although I got onto the kafra menu that time, the 3rd time I got invaded on the Airship and died, 4th i died in prontera YET AGAIN and on my 5th try I finally get there. It wasn't thought through at all >.<

Why didn't you save in cities along the way, like Izlude, and save yourself the trip if you got killed on the second and later tries?

I did eventually, but its just sad to see a level 150 camping the south door of prontera killing people no higher than level 20 especially when there was no warning although granted it was supposed to be an april fools prank, it backfired like hell with the buggy priest quest etc

I just started playing recently and I find this very inconveniencing. There's somewhere I need to get to that happens to be stationed inside Prontera, and now I can't get anywhere close to it without getting shot down by a high-level player right at the entrance.

Please, next time, if you're going to make an April Fool's joke, make it so that it doesn't actually hinder gameplay. :/ Thank you.

The NPC's in the towns still work even if you're dead, you know. Just find the kafra at the door and save there. Once you respawn after saving with the kafra there, you'll end up in Prontera's save point.

I did try it a few times on my merchant, window already open, pressing save while dead, no, using the kafra while dead, no, using the kafra and pressing save at the same time I die, no..

I forgot to mention you have to initiate the conversation before you get killed at the door. You get a brief few seconds of invincibility upon going through a portal as long as you don't move away from it. So from there you initiate a conversation with a kafra before getting killed.

Nonetheless, maintenance took April Fool's PvP Pront away anyways.
