Unless your character and gears are super strong, expect all your kvm games to yield only 1 point each for losing almost every single match.

Suppose you can earn 10 kvm points per hour. That alone will take just 200 hours just to get you a +0 kvm equipment, or 2200 hours on average for +7.

I think kvm in boxes + hd ores working on +4 again would be a good solution because you know...two negatives makes a positive...

pls raise the reward point for Kreiger Von Midgard (KVM).The reward point are soo horrendous..

Win = 5 point and Lose = 1 point

a +9 Kvm item are almost god like and it really not fair to the new player vs the tons of Veteran who got them using the HD ore fiasco in general as it almost impossible for them to make 1.

U need and insane amount of time and ALT just to get farm 2,000 KVM Reward Points just to get a freaking weapon. and if u break it u need farm another 2,000 KVM point.

That still not including the whole Kreiger Von Midgard (KVM)'s amour set which we need like 3,200 KVM Reward Points to get them and more again just to upgrade them pass the safe limit.

i would like to suggest that the reward point be change from
Win = 5 point and Lose = 1 point to Win = 50 point and Lose = 30 point

Could make some kvm upgrading coupons like the slot ads - raise the chance to get your kvm weapon to +6 or +7 but also not break your weapon upon failure. Shove them in lucky boxes and make the coupons tradeable like slot ads.

Also make alternative ways to obtain kvm badges like trading blank cards or hunting x number of x monster etc etc. Or allow people to choose exp or a few badges as rewards from quests.

The damage is done and inequality is there so might as well make money out of it and allow others to obtain them easier.

I srsly think we should be able to get the bestest gear from eden group. Like, 1 kill 50 spores quest = 80 KVM badges. And make the weapns useable by lower lvls, is so unfair you have to be hi lvl (80+) to use. What will happn if I can't use after my first month or two? Mass newbie quitting, sad players, revolutions and earthquakes.

Edit: just to giv you a gide: in the pserver I playd before, we had the mechajumbo III weapns, a donation item anyone coud have so you could like, kill lvls 255 after your firs week nd it was fun.

Nice idea. I also would like to see a coupon put into boxes that upgrades the brains of whoever gets it. You could go first.

Nothing will change. It's more profitable ($) leaving kvm as it is and make weapons only realistically obtainable from boxes. Who wants to farm ridiculous amounts of kvm badges to break something even to +5 (valk, yes a friend of mine broke three to +5) again and again, not to mention how hard is to find people willing to. I wish I would be proven wrong and they'll rise the rewards, upgrade rates would be revamped, but yeah, who cares anymore.

Well i was thinking what if we did an item trade in. For example im sure a bunch of us have a bunch of useless cards that we dont know what to do with. Maybe depending on the card you can get a certain amount of KVM points. Ive noticed that each card has a value on it in one of the corners. Maybe based on that value is the amount of KVM badge you get in the trade in.

Something does need to be done about kvm, i wouldnt mind the whole japan ro "Link System" BUT! im sure the gm's will have battlegrounds randomization done soon on flav so im sure soon they will allow KVM to be played with randomization and without the 5min game delays >>

p.s. currently i dont find pvp/woe fair with unbalancing, brought +9 upgrades and play to win status. hopfully next few weeks will balance pvp out

It would be nice to have the +9 fists get a cast time. I mean its kinda crazy when im in WoE and i have to instantly shadow form for fear of dying to an instant fist, cant even hide from it. Theres some i can outlive from some crappily geared suras but the pros can do well over my 38k hp and i cant even cast ignorance on em since i have a cast time and they dont. But whatever it is what it is i dont expect it to change im just gonna make a buncha suras waste ales and ygg and :( on me while i shadow form their guildies http://forums.warppo...tyle_emoticons/default/happy.gif

If ur a good player you won't bother having KVM stuffs, its not the gears and such, its how u play ur char skillfully... TAKE ADVANTAGE OF THE 3RD CLASSES OP SKILLS! /gg

I think part of the problem with glorious weapons (and this would be more apparent when rates change to allow easy 10+) is that corresponding armor upgrades are relatively marginal in their impact.

The damage difference of a KvM weapon from 4 -> 12 is huge, but the damage reduction of an armor from 4 -> 12 is hardly noticable (or not noticable at all vs skills that ignore def).

price could be an issue yes thats for certain, and with the market being what it is (ymir) thats a lotta to pay for. but. it can be done, and it doesnt require this kind of "it took me x months to get 1 weapon" thing. to me its much easier to hunt higher end items, or a load of lower end items, to buy some kvm if thats what you want. or wait till they come in boxes again idk... it takes a while due to lack of interest, but it can be done. levels the playing field? dunno bout that, would rather not have every single sura i come across have insta-cast


I don't know what your whole issue is, but you're a horrible troller. Not everyone has the capacity to make zeny, nor the time. Obviously, you have no life and play RO 24/7.

more suras/etc chars need their + 9 kvm fists and what not to be "ok". im pretty sure that if you take away the +9 kvm fists from 90% of the suras that play now, they would have no idea how to do anything effectively


I agree with you. Nearly EVERYONE with a +9 KVM fist can't play their class without their precious instant cast. Probably why most of them are low level and don't have any REAL skills to play the class.

If they didn't want the GFist cast time to be like pre-renewal (high dex=insta cast) so they put in a "fixed cast time", why didn't they update the glorious weapons as well?

i think they just didnt want warlocks to have instant cast because every other class does now, with skills that are far more damaging than any warlock skill. think GoH, hells plant, etc...

cmon the game is on first come first serve basis, the older players came before us obvious they should be stronger than us, or else there would be no veterans, they would all rage quit when the noobs beat them.

Well on the one hand you must remember it was an event that got them the +9 KvM gears. So it is just to realize that this was like the Spare card event. Once it closed you really wish you did what the other people did. True true, it is sad and a bit imbalanced that these +9 effects are so insane and it's not like EVERYONE had a fair chance at getting it due to real life finance, zeny, time, what have you, but its like the real world really, it ain't fair, but it's the truth. It's a HUGE waste to those who invested in these gears if they just lose it or it becomes nerfed so i think we need to realize that they are here to stay for the foreseeable future. What I think you should all do is have a way to beat these people. Maybe not your own character can handle them but, Shadow chaser and some GX can divest it, Royal Guards can break it, Swordbreaker is a dagger that most classes can use and it's not sooooo hard to obtain. White imprison and Gravitational field combo of warlock can own many classes if not all, RK take out many people effortlessly so its only fair that someone be able to do the same to them. Agreed not all classes stand a chance and these weapons really are a nuisance but I assure you they can't take out a whole (good) guild single handedly and I doubt many guilds will have many people (say about more than 5 or so) with these gears.

Still the disadvantage is you don't know who has it and who doesn't but you can only do so much anyway. "If a man gives his best, then what else is there?".

The argument I have to make is maybe a weapon with these should have been a bit more common so that it can be obtained easier but maybe by less people. For example, making it a rare WoE castle drop, or a rare drop like Elemental Sword. The current KvM items that already have Upgrade +7 or higher can take the name of the owner and be exclusive i think as a reward for doing so well in the event. These people can have their KvM items with the same effects as the new Katar introduced as a drop from the WoE Castle or WoE Dungeon Monster (effect of this New Katar will be the same as current Glorious Katar) and the new Glorious Katar description should:

1) Include current Glorious Katar (it's Glorious Bloody Roar i think but you know what i mean) +7 Upgrade effect
2) Include a +9 Effect that simply increases aspd or attack by some small amount so as not to make it too desirable to have it +9ed. This should make it more balanced to the best Katars currently.

I never had a Monk class but Gfist with fixed cast time seems really horrible. I think it can stay the same and have the only thing changed be that the cast delay is reduced significantly to something like 0.5 seconds not Instant. that way they feel the benefit of instant cast in most general scenarios, but they are still prone to aspd characters like Spear quiken RG, aspd based/Crit GX, RK Frenzy, aspd based Mechanics, and so on.

To you guys at gravity, if you read this please reply and let me know what you think.

Well tell that to a friend of mymine, who started to play RO just under a Month.. ..who have a +9 KVM Fist and getting those KVM point from Boxes....LOl
