Reposting this here too from iROwiki. So please help confirm the potentially bugged skills and post screens here for the gms to know.

With the update to Atk with renewal, a series of new bugs have arose. One of the bug allows forced neutral skills to have elemental properties or, the opposite, skills that are supposed to have elemental property are also forced neutral. So that stuff like this occurs:

Example of forced neutral skill with element:

Example of elemental skill that is also forced neutral:

You might be asking what is causing this bug. By clicking on the atk link above, you can see that weapon element affects only equipment atk (e.atk) and weapon attack (w.atk) now instead of the whole damage. But since e.atk and w.atk is still calculated before damage, the forced neutral property change of damage will not apply to e.atk and w.atk.

The "forced neutral skills with elemental property" bug was discovered by players within a week of kRO renewal testing in September of 2008. This bug was fixed ~18 months (read 03/31/2010 kRO patch notes); however only 3 skills were fixed as they where the only ones of major concern at the time. They were Acid Demonstration (iRO's Acid Bomb), Final Strike (iRO's Killing Stroke), and Asura Strike (iRO's Guillotine Fist). At first glance there is no similarities between them. But if you look at the full list of confirmed skills with this bug you will see a definite pattern:

Alchemist
Acid Bomb (fixed on 03/31/2010)

Monk
Occult Impact
Guillotine Fist (fixed on 03/31/2010)

Paladin
Rapid Smiting

Ranger
Bomb Cluster
Fire Trap
Ice Trap

Sura
Hell's Gate

Ninja
Killing Stroke (fixed on 03/31/2010)

Care to guess the pattern? They all have added damage that isn't from Atk or matk. With this pattern, we can assume the following forced neutral skills are affected (please go test these out):

Alchemist:
Bomb Terror

Crusader:
Shield Boomerang (requires Mild Wind)

Royal Guard:
Shield Press
Burst Attack

Sura:
Fallen Empire
Tiger Cannon

This "forced neutral skills with elemental property" bug is not the only thing these skills have in common. The added damage is also unaffected by Damage reduction/amplification effects like Thara Frog card or Archer Skeleton Card. However, if you look at Acid Bomb, Guillotine Fist and Killing Stroke which is fixed, you will see that, by fixing the "forced neutral skills with elemental property" bug, Gravity will also fix this bug making it all reducible and hence increase the survival rate against things like Hell's Gate whose bonus irreducible damage is very high. And they might be able to fix the other irreducible skills that don't rely on Atk and Matk:

Hunter:
Landmine
Blast Mine
Claymore Trap
Blitz Beat

Sniper:
Falcon Assault

Rune Knight:
Dragon Breath

Mechanic:
Suicidal Destruction

Geneticist:
Thorns Trap

Ninja:
Throw Coins

I did not list Ranger's Warg skills because on 07/14/2010 kRO specifically changed these skills to be only influenced by the ranger's numerical attack and unaffected by any cards or weapon element at all.

Now lets look at the "skills that are supposed to have elemental property are also forced neutral" bug. Here is a list of confirmed skills with this bug:

Ninja:
Throw Shuriken
Throw Kunai

Assassin:
Venom Knife

Mechanic:
Arm Cannon (fixed on kRO on 03/16/2011)

Geneticist:
Cart Cannon

The pattern? They are all STR weapon users that uses a special ammunition to deal bonus ranged damage. With this the following skills can be assumed to be affected (Please test this out):

Geneticist:
Item Sling

Another skill with similar bug but nothing in common with the others is Crusader's Grand Cross. This skill has a forced Holy applied to the damage but its matk portion is forced neutral before this Holy property is applied so absolutely no magic damage is dealt to the Ghost 3 or higher monsters.

TL, DR:
Go test out the following skills against monsters with an Endow on to see if damage is affected (Like Wind endow vs a Poring) then try them on Ghost 3/4 monsters (like a Whisper) and see if it misses:

Alchemist:
Bomb Terror

Crusader:
Shield Boomerang (requires Mild Wind)

Geneticist:
Item Sling

Royal Guard:
Shield Press
Burst Attack

Sura:
Fallen Empire
Tiger Cannon

Yeah I've noticed that when geneticists are using holy cannon balls on nightmare terrors and they miss completely, but aspersio works fine.

I'm pretty sure that Gfist and GoH can change element thru converters...

Then again, isn't one part of its formula force to neutral?

I thought the "partial forced neutral" mechanic was intentional, as a means of limiting the use of the skill.

I see... so then skills like GoH and Gfist can be both neutral and elemental at the same time...

@Wizard:
GFist can't as it has been fixed a long time a go but yes GoH can gain elemental advantage.

@DrAzzy:
These are bugs and not intended (else kRO wouldn't even bother fixing any). Why should a skill that is strong enough as neutral be able to be powered up with elemental property as well? Why make Ghost Cannon Balls if you can't use it to hit Ghost monsters?

Also I don't know much about old bugs but didn't Melody Strike/Sling Arrow also had the "skills that are supposed to have elemental property are also forced neutral" bug a long time ago?
