how does the VIP work? 30 days? 90days? 190 days? VIP isn't permanent?

VIP is just another word for Subscription. So yes.

Mm. Ok thanks. I'd pay VIP if I could transfer all my stuff in storage/character to Ymir. Ohwell, Back to non-VIP Valkyrie.

Yeah hopefully they open server transfers again soon. I think there are a few people who would like that or waiting for it.
