Ever since the last maintenance I can't play the game. I get sprite and palette errors and then the game crashes. Help?

if not then you need to update your client.

I actually had the same issue. What I had to end up doing was to copy+paste the old .grf that I had previous. The problem is that while it may recover the palettes that it SOMEHOW lost during this new update, it won't fix all the sprite issues. And I have yet to figure out what is causing that. >.>

It sounds like somehow you've managed to get the patch to connect to the new server, while not getting the renewal patch.

Did you fully run both the Renewal and Valkyrie patchers before running the Ragnarok patcher? If not, try that. The patching situation is a real mess at this point. We really need a new, clean, installer.

Ceil - that's not a good thing to do. Do not edit, modify, replace, bend, fold, spindle or otherwise mutilate your GRFs. That's a good way to break the client sufficiently as to force a reinstallation; it sounds like you're at that point. :-/
