I love Spell Fist, but I doubt it's useful in WoE... so I'm thinking I could hang back and use supportive spells instead.

Need some advice though. I haven't WoE'd since pre-renewal.

Should I roll with Soul Siphon or Dispell? Only have enough points for one. Was Dispell nerfed? I know it probably doesn't affect 3rd job buffs, but can I at least save myself from taking a G-fist like before?

Is Arullo effective? Never even got to try this skill out cause they disable it everywhere.

all those skills are realy useful, soul syphon to counter inspiration rgs (inspiration ends when they run out of sp), dispell for dispelling fury status, buffs, reading spellbook from locks, whit imprision and lot of other buffs, its pretty usefuul. And arrullo, the way to 1 shot lot of ppl is arrullo+fist them (arrullo increases dmg from 1.5x, with lex is a letal combo). I usualy see sorcs using vacuun, arrullo, dispell and as offensive psychic, poison cloud and diamond dust (as well as warming/arrullo cades on 2.0 to heal them)

Dispell is still very useful and i would choose it over siphon even if siphon is insta and still has some use.

I could probably use some 3rd job points to get both Dispell and Siphon.
A lot of the 3rd job skills arent very useful for my Spell Fisting.

Siphon has limited use now due to the availability of sp items. There is always a better counter to a situation (i.e. divesting or breaking an RGs shild to remove reflect instead of siphoning) , but it still has use if nothing else is available. Dispel is also useful, but it was never updated properly to renewal standards to remove new buffs that really need to come down if you are going to kill someone (i.e. reflect damage, Rising Dragon auto fury state).

Siphon still has some uses. It is instacast, so if you find yourself being constantly interrupted then it might buy you a couple seconds. There is one RG skill that ends when they have no sp (not RD) but forgot the name. For RD, dispell is probably better anyway.
