I want to start off saying that I don't usually complain about anything in ro on the forums. I love this game, been playing since early 2005. Lately I have been trying to get people I know to give it a shot. I have convinced 2 people to sign up already and another 2 will prolly join in the next week or 2. HOWEVER, I have realized how difficult it is to sign up for this game now as compared to 2005 <.<; I can understand, trying to keep out bots but.... sign up for warpportal, alright fine, sign up for the game itself, ok done, wait 24 hours for confirmation of payment, alright if you insist. My friend has been over 24 hours now, he wants to play the game. He could start on Ygg or Valk while he waits, but what is the point I am playing on Ymir and he will be as well. Then there is my wife, that I have been trying to get into the game for years and she got a message saying she had to submit a ticket, so she had to sign up for the support, and we all know how long tickets take. She will be lucky to play by the end of this next week. To put it all out, my friend had to sign up for 2 things pay and wait longer than the 24 hour wait time. My wife had to sign up for 3 things, and will prolly end up waiting a week. This is NOT a good first impression. I honestly feel embarrassed, I speak highly of this game and how much I like it and this is their experience right off the bat?

Tickets are being answered faster than before now. Thank god its not like pre-renewal.

Just ask them to play on Valk/Ygg in the meanwhile until they're confirmed to be able to play on Ymir so that they can get a feel for the game.

Oh forgot, you can buy a game card for your friend and that should be instant.

This is very true.

In my opinion you should be able to sign for the game in an easy way, while at the same time something that has an option "New Warpportal member? Make this your Warpportal account" where it sets the RO/Requiem/whatever account as you WP account and automatically links them together.

THAT would work.

Easy explanation, perhaps a walkthrough registration page that has a three stage process.

I'll make en fast explanation of what I mean.

Right now it's pretty slow.

The wp site isn't particularly user friendly.

And I mean like, you press "register" and it shows you a screen like this so you understand it quickly, then proceed to the various registrations.
