as for Cryengine, well currently they don't have any commercial affordable version of their engine (from what I heard licence is 500+ mil $ or more) so don't expect Rose in Cryengine unless they release something similar to UDK

...we will offer an innovative low cost licensing model if you want to release your game digitally...

I guess we will have to wait and see how low cost it will be
another thing with Unreal vs Cry is that Unreal engine has option to create content for IOS (which is currently our target platform)
Unreal engine is less hardware demanding (better optimization) and since it's been around for long time it is easier to find good experienced team members
