Hey, So I'm kinda new to RO and I want to ask other than grinding (and the quests which also seem to be grinding) and socializing what else is there to do?

The eden quests are grinding, though there are also other non-gridny quests (often the rewards aren't so great though. Some are though).

At higher levels, leveling gets somewhat more interesting (still a grind, though), you can hunt bosses, etc. The thing many players see as the highest goal in the game is fighting as a guild in War of Emperium (WoE) 2x a week, for control of castles (for prestige and god item creation). You need to be lvl 100+ to even think of WoEing nowadays, though, as third job classes pretty much vaporize anything not third job. A good woe with a good guild is damned fun.
