I've seen some people with decent looking small avatars on forums. However, when I go to upload a picture to my account it always distorts the picture terribly unless I submit a perfect 150x200 size picture, which I don't want to use. It says image scaling is on but it appears there is no way to turn it off. So how do I change it?

I cheated, myself. I made mine a 150x200-sized pic, even though it's only a 100x100-sized avatar. X3

ANYWAYS, I'd like to see this disabled, or maybe a toggle added, too! Thought about maybe saying something, decided against it. So here I am! :3

It's broken. I don't know if they intend to fix it or not. For now just paste your avatar to a white background that is 100x200 and it will appear unstrectched

Cheaters! All of you! ^^

Luckily, since 0,25% of all PB accounts are still broken (and somehow I'm one of the 'lucky' few), I don't have to worry about it for now...

(now that PB is up again (after two weeks) I have also cheated /pif)

You need to level up your awesomeness before your avatar can look decent.

Any chance for a GM/Moderator response for this? ): I don't want to have to use a 150x200 image!

It would seem they've given up fixing any of the broken forum features.

NVIDIA uses the same board software and everything works fine for them.

IE9. I also tried Firefox once due to being on another pc, but that didn't change anything... You think it's a browser problem?

Not sure. I use IE8 when doing anything on these forums and I've never had a problem with avatar stretching.

Radical concept, a checkbox that disables the image scaling.

Yea that would be a nice feature to have. Next thing you know, they'll be saying "well it works fine with IE."

Time to get with the times, IE isn't the only browser out there. If I didn't need it for work, I wouldn't even have it, because Firefox is WAAAAAY better than IE.

What's really freakin retarded is that the image scaling wasn't on before I tried to change my avatar. Had I left things alone, I wouldn't have even noticed the issue.

As of today, the avatars are fixed. Rejoice users of warpportal! (you will have to update it tho, as you can now enter your file dimensions to what you want it to be)

Edit: when did the forum titles get back O_O (amature blogger? that sucks :D)

It can be "mature" with the prefix a- (meaning un-mature) to make it look like amateur

Or their spelling just fails :ani_meow:

Edit: OK I guess I have my answer xD
