I think the process of rebirth, start from zero and rework all your way to 99 again was okish for an update to gain some time while the third jobs were in development... but it makes no sense in renewal.

The option to go third job without transing has no use other than babies, and confusing new players to make one of the worst mistakes they could do, and that is irrreversible: changing third job without going trans.

What about removing the trans process, and instead move the trans part of the game to levels around 100-120, as an integrated part everyone has to do?

Baby charas could be the exception that still changes third job after reaching base 99.

The only other reason I see for 3rd-classing a non-trans is due to using it as a buff slave of some sort.

Although I do have to facepalm every time I meet a person who wants to ask what the advantages are between non-trans and trans 3rd class. Is it not obvious enough for them?

I do think there might want to be an all-red-text warning from the NPC if you try to change on a non-trans, warning you that it's irreversible, and that transing is strongly recommended. Unless there is already.

I am personally fine with the system the way it is. i mean you HAVE the option to change jobs at job 40 but everyone knows for most classes you should go 50. Not like it's that hard in Renewal anyway.

I have a non trans maestro and it works perfectly for what i need too. The thing about going to 3rd job without transing is just a simple IQ test for players who treats it as their mains
