Prefer PvM and want a good end game class
Non-Magic based preferred.

other non magic classes that are needed for raids would be obviously protector or commander (tank), warlord (for it's hp buff).
sin/sr, ranger/avenger and zerk are also ok for raids but aren't great in pve since they are single target chars.
in summary casters are better for pve and raids.

casters are usually prefered for raids and some of them are kings of pve.

Thing I hate about casters is that in the majority of games they got way more down time. Or they are way more expensive and also die a lot. Those are the things I'm really against so if there is a caster class without those limitations please advise.

easiest starter caster class is shaman.
then you have mystic or forsaker, mystics get more aoes and are better against mobs and forsaker is a bit more pvp based but have very good debuffs for raids too.
mb forsaker would be good for you, you could build one more towards pve and raiding while still be able to farm some battlefield points if you need some.
also at lower lvls casters die less than melee usually because they can kite mobs very easy and kill faster
in summarry, pve is very basic and easy so dont worry about it

Hmm well I'd say in requiem that casters definitely have an edge in every aspect of PvP and PvE (except 1 vs 1 of course.) Requiem also doesn't have many long downtime skills for casters or cast time like majority of other games. Since you seem to like non magic classes more, I'd go with warlord or protector as the 2 most useful non magic raid classes. Protector is very gears dependent (obviously) so to be a decent tank it will take a lot of item mall and resources. Both of those classes are party dependent in PvE as well.Thing I hate about casters is that in the majority of games they got way more down time. Or they are way more expensive and also die a lot. Those are the things I'm really against so if there is a caster class without those limitations please advise.

Two classes can be real tanks: Protector, which is the best one by default, and Commander, who can also do well if properly skilled and geared. The only thing is, to make a good tank requires much effort and investment in good gear too. Upgraded tank gear is not exactly the cheapest...
The other choice could be Warlord, mainly for their nice party HP buff skill. They are a good support class, they also have a useful party attack buff skill. And they can do their bit with dps too, I suppose.
I believe, in general, caster classes are far easier to play, advance and equip in Requiem. And most of them can do well in raids, since they are not required to be front line to pew pew dps...

your 2 main raid skills are blazing wind which decreases fire resistance of bosses and plague charm which decreases their dmg
