Why have these things become so useless? Is there anything we can do with them, I'm not sure why they weren't available to use with Boxter?

Come on, dude, you're just being obnoxious. Why inundate the market with something that nobody cares for? Unslotted ice picks are already almost same price as slotted ones as is, and the saddest part is, there's maybe hundreds and thousands of slot ads floating around from boxes in numbers incredibly far beyond the number of items people'd actually care to slot.

I just don't get why it wasn't included with Boxter.

Yeah if you're not going to put them in boxter, don't put them in boxes please. Very few of the items able to be slotted actually are worthwhile to do so. I'm fine with them being a crap reward from boxes as long as we have a use for them, but just having to stockpile them sucks.
