Umm... I understand that renewal is still in alpha testing. But which sane company totally ditches a successful product to force its customers into beta testing something totally different? That is kinda what kRO did.
I don't see any real fix that renewal provided to the problems before renewal... for example, it would have brought a fix to the lack of leveling motivations from prerenewal, if eden group existed when max level was 99. But now that the real leveling starts at 110+, eden group leaves you alone at 85ish. So just like you got lots of people stuck at levels 7x and 8x prerenewal, now you identically get people stuck in the middle levels.
You may argue that renewal mechanics are 'not that bad', or 'good ideas that just need time so you adapt', but you can't just ignore how many things renewal came to plainly break. From partying, battlegrounds, woe, izlude arena, bapho instance, endless tower, quests, some skills, cast times, or weapons balances, Renewal brought the need of several fixes to things that didn't need a fix. Plus leaving the old problems untouched.
Renewal is not bad because it's in its baby stage. Renewal is bad because it is an unfinished, buggy half made product. Renewal still has a lot of time ahead before even becoming a baby.
you got point. i think its more like half an half.
like we have to let it grew yet we should protest to fix the game's old problems, huh?
I also think that they should start balancing the characters first than changing the game events' mechanics.
