Hi,
Iam another returner to the game, from about 4-5 years ago.

Oddly enough I have no characters on my account O.o but I figured It can't hurt to start fresh anyways and re-learn it all.

So I bought a VIP package, and my 1st question is:

Is their a benefit of playing on the Ymir server over Valkyrie or Yggdraril?

I started characters on both, played on ymir mainly, but their is obviously a lot less people on there.
Unfortunatly I was struggling for zeny, and chose a gunslinger 1st. Iam now going to make a merchant as my 1st hero back in the game.

my 2nd question is:

I've looked for merch/blacksmith guides, but all i can seem to find is ones for BS who craft stuff. I just want a fighter type. Would a STR/VIT/DEX build be ok? or crappy? what about STR/AGI/DEX (or luk even instead of dex)

my 3rd question is:

Iam quite happy to spend RL money on this game, hell I've spent enough on previous MMO's, and for it to have no subscription fee means I can afford kafra points instead. What should I be using kafra points on? I'm not keen on the rental items, but some of the headgears look like they may help. What about items that can be sold on the market? might help while iam rejoining the game.

edit*** i think i found out why i have no characters on my account, i played on oRO sakray server, but that is gone now..... bugger

Well for Ymir compared to Valkyrie there is less bots and compared to Yggdrasil there is more population.

^^^ black smith related stuff skill/builds -- though imo an agi build would be fine if your starting out fresh

Kafra stuff;

Enrich Orid/Elu and i think HE BM/Gum can be sold in vend in their box forms

Robo eye is good if you need some dex/matk/atk it cant be traded though

Your characters are most likely still around. oRO characters were merged onto iRO's Iris server which was merged onto ymir. Send us a ticket with the name of the characters you are looking for and your old email address and we can look for it.

Not quite Oda. Only the oRO accounts that applied for a transfer were merged, and then only charactes from the oRO Chaos server (not the free oRO Sakray - which was a complete joke of a server). Also we were able to chose which server we transferred to (Chaos, Loki or Iris)
