Info on Eden Group here: http://irowiki.org/wiki/Eden_Group
As far as for GC sader. I am not very knowledgable on them, and even less so since Renewal. But this link may give you an idea of what to look for in stat builds. As well as some gear suggestions. http://irowiki.org/wiki/Crusader
I know they don't offer numerical stat point reasoning for the builds, but it may give you an idea. There are stat calculators you can play with (they seem overwhelming, but they are fairly simple to use once you understand it), that you can see how a build might work out. http://calcxre.wushuang.ws/
Only thing I can say, is if you totally dump all your stats into INT now, as a Swordsman. Leveling as a Swordie is gonna be tough. Most people if they leveled that way as a Swordsman they used Fireblends or something (sword that allows you to cast fire bolt). So they could deal magic damage instead of meleeing. I would personally, work on your offensive stats if you get any, or vit, depending on what you decide. And save Int till when you are a crusader. I probably shouldn't be posting here cause I really have not much helpful advice on the class, so take it for what its worth. But wanted to at least point you in the direction of gear.

trust me.
you won't regret it.
GC Crusader costs too much in pots/supplies/gear, and you'll be hitting your head against the wall for the exp rate you get semi mobbing and regening.
fyi - GH Chiv isn't the same as it once was before.
Your zeny pool will dwindle more as GC Sader than as Spear Sader.
However, if you truly enjoy Grand Cross, then by all means stick with it. Just don't complain when the exp rate is mind numbingly slow after you hit 85/50.

Also, I have Eden group armor, but it feels like I have to stop and rest every 3-4 Mukas/Pecos
