Hey everyone, so I recently got back into RO and I keep seeing or reading topics about GC being jus plain stupid after renewal. I understand it's not the same as before being the way atk dmg affects overall dmg, not so much limiting it to int... but does that make it bad?

I dont know just how bad it is but ragardless of that, the new skills will over shadow it big time. If AoE is your thing look up overbrand as far as RG is concerned.

GC is horrible in renewal due to the MATK formula nerf. Mage/Wiz skills had their formulas adjusted slightly for the much lower MATK in renewal, but GC did not. Combined with the lack of good +MATK weapons that a Crusader can equip and the high HP costs of using GC, it makes GC builds not feasible.

Crusaders should go 2H spear these days and get max Holy Cross and Spear Quicken. Holy Cross was buffed to do double damage when used with 2H spear. Spear Quicken was buffed to give +Crit, +Flee and +ASPD.
