I like the idea of the VIP dungeons, and if they can bring the party game back, they'll definitely get me to restart my sub and buy KP again.
What I'm worried about, however, is that with Renewal mechanics, these are going to be the only places worth partying in, since normal monsters are a complete joke. Essentially, you're creating a system where partying itself is a VIP benefit. That's fine for us vets, who know the game well enough to know whether or not we're willing to pay for that. Newbies, on the other hand, are going to be very turned off by a game where they can never play with another player until they pay.
My suggestion is simple - make the first and second jobs ones free to access, but make it so the quest rewards are much higher if you have VIP. Keep the 3rd job ones VIP-only. This lets people see the party game without paying, but ensures that to actually get anywhere in the special dungeons, they do still need a sub. (The overwhelming majority of your leveling time is in the 100+ levels.)
This should, in the long run, make the VIP system more profitable, by getting more to sign up for it.
