The reason why this error happens is because C:\ (on some computers,) is a protected file system that will not allow some programs to write files to it. The ROSE Online installer and updater(s) are often one of these programs that do not have the permissions to install it's files. Running in Administrator Mode will most likely not fix this issue, but you may try it anyway. You may also right-click the installer and go to the Compatibility "tab" and set the mode to Windows XP (SP2.)
If you are still encountering the error, please move your " C:\Program Files\Gravity " file (which includes ROSE Online's folder,) to your Desktop. It may take a small amount of time for your files to move over. After this is finished, run the ROSE Installer once again, but make sure to change the directory to match the Gravity fold on your Desktop, and then it should install correctly. You may then either move your Gravity folder back to " C:\Program Files " or you may keep it on your Desktop permanently. If you decide to keep it on your Desktop, you may have to make sure you remember that each time you install and/or update ROSE Online.
NOTE: Moving it back to your C:\ directory may result in a reading error. If this happens, keep it on your desktop.
I hope this brings a solution to your problem.

The server was restarted last night due to a problem with something, nothing was really relayed to us about it. On the contrary, try lowering your resolution for ROSE to 800x600 and keeping the graphics down to minimum. You may also want to close out any other programs that you keep on while you sleep as they may cause a disturbance with your connection. You can also check your router, firewall, or any other kind of security settings that may cause your internet to disconnect for a small amount of time and then reconnect. If your problems still persist, I'm not sure how to fix them for you and I apologize.

I would help further but I haven't taken any classes on networking, everything I know is from my own personal experience only. :/
Also keep in mind your processing speed. What are you running on? How much RAM?

I figure it would be easier to monitor your clients if you had them all in lower resolutions, but that's just an idea.
I have read around on the forums and there were other people multi-clienting that had the same issue, so I'm not sure. The issue may be an issue with the client, may be an issue with your computer not wanting to process more than one connection, may be problem with your registry files, could be an assortment of problems. It may also be an issue with the server not wanting to hold more than one connection from your IP address, the conflict could cause one or more of your characters to disconnect randomly. I wish I knew what to tell you in order to fix this, but I think this is more up to the Developers.
