Aprils Gocash event?
All i could find when i searched was the announcement from the final week of that event. In it, they say they will tally up May 1st and announce on May 2nd. Searched i cant find anything but a dead end for the actual result. Sorry Icraft.

"The final week of our GoCash event to win Cash and an Xbox Kinect is underway.

It is a tight race still and the current leaders are separated by less than 1 GoCash Card potentially with only a handful of cards needed for a new winner to take the crown!

Someone is going to STEAL this Xbox by using just a few GoCash cards, it certainly could be anyone at this point.

Every GoCash card that is entered on a single WarpPortal account adds to that accounts total, on May 2nd we announce who the top 3 GoCash redeemers were for April and contact them directly about how to receive their extremely valuable prizes!

This event is sponsored by GoCash the top GoCash redeemers WILL win: 1st place X-Box 360 + Kinect
2nd place $100 GoCash card
3rd place $50 GoCash card

The winners will have their prizes shipped to their home directly, after verifying your address; and for the GoCash cards the PIN number will be emailed directly to your WarpPortal email address.

All GoCash purchases will be tallied on May 2nd to decide the winners."

The event is sponsored by GoCash, that means that they will hand out the prices, not Gravity.

Yea, i read that Gocash were sponsoring.
On the Warp portal Facebook site it says

"The final week of our GoCash event to win Cash and an Xbox Kinect is underway. It is a tight race still
and the current leaders are separated by less than 1 GoCash Card potentially with only a handful of cards
needed for a new winner to take the crown! .."

Now when i read that comment i think that Warportal know its a tight race how? Via Gocash informing them?
Also in the Event post on Warportals main site they (Warportal) talk of tallying up on a certain date. The way its worded, is as if they (Warportal) were going to do the counting.
Maybe its alot of typos...Maybe im just misunderstanding xD....Maybe they just forgot to officially announce the winners? *shrugs*

We are contacting the winners privately. If those people wish to have their names made public, we will announce the winners at that time. Thank you.

Contacting the winners privately is well and good at some stage. However I would like to point out that it is protecting Gravity and GoCashes integrity to make some kind of public announcement and keep this all above board and out in the open. If the results of a contest are not announced publically by a company, what is to keep onlookers from wondering if any prizes was ever given out?

I totally agree with you here, and also in the past, there has been no problem with announcing names, so I don't understand what is the big issue here this time?

Absolutely, Gravity in concert with GoCash should publish the results of the contest, not keep it private. I understand that they don't want to give out personal/private information such as real names and and locations, especially because minors may be involved. But surely the can use their forum names or game names. It has to be public or whats to keep people from saying this was all a hoax or a scheme to get all the benefits of a contest without the cost. Contests have to be run a certain way to protect both the companies and sponsors that run them, and the customers.

In my opinion I think it's good they first ask these winners if their names may be posted on the forums. It shows that Gravity respect's other people's privacy.
