Above is a link to Doddlers page listing all the changes they made to renewal.
How do the iRO players feel about these changes. I dont see anything I wouldnt like.
How hard would it be to just get jRO's version...seems that would fix some things.

iRO has the power to request changes. You're correct to say that kRO has the final say, but they don't necessarily require that we stick strictly to kRO updates and content.
For instance, a lot of our headgears come directly from jRO. jRO is also the server that makes our headgear contests possible since they sprite the winners for us. iRO and jRO do cross content fairly often.

We might not be able to get everything. But I do wish we had no drop/exp penalty based on level. Remember the good old days where a mage would rush to learn some fire skills and either hit and run at mi gaos or setup a firewall and shoot bolts from behind it ? *sigh*
Also, 99ing a support bard at mi gaos...not sure if thats doable now /spin

Did you notice jRO's minimum weapon matk formula? The matk variation is potentially huge, meaning even with great gear and a lot of int, a caster with an unlucky roll can do terrible damage.
Warlocks with recognize spell might be able to get past that, though.
