So...

Why exactly did the price of Teletickets double from 50 IM points for 10 to 100 IM points for 10 after the patch? Just because they became consumables does not warrent a 100% increase in cost. Personally I'm not really happy with this change at all and this needs to reverted back to 50 IM points for 10.

I don't complain much about anything that goes on in games.. but milking tactics really get under my skin as a consumer.

I think indeed that these items shouldn't be too expensive. How many times did your client crash randomly and you spawn in your savetown or adventurers plains? I lost at least over 100 tickets that way.
Now I don't complain about that because I bought them ingame, but that's just wrong.

They should sell both....

To be honest there is one thing that bugs the crap out of me when they do this stuff. They have several thousand of the old tickets sitting in the game. Those tickets are going to confuse some people and scams are going to happen by people selling the old as the new. Why in the HELL don't they just convert the old so that there is one type that looks the same in teh game. It's idiotic...this has gone on for a bunch of stuff now...skill resets, stat resets, etc etc...why is it so hard to keep one version of a thing in the game when you change the rules mid game?

Same goes for the Job and Skill Resets. (not price-wise,) but the fact the vendoring players are still buying the old versions which no one has.

I agree that both should still be purchasable. One set to be used with the NPC, another set to be used anywhere you want. Change the colors.

They double the price because you can use them anywhere but you gotta admit it is a clever way of making more money because the youth are very impatient as a whole. Basically they are willing to pay money due to impatience. They want it and want it NOW. Just read these forums all the time and thats how it is.

That's true. But I still think both should be purchasable, not forcing people to buy one type. But eh, it's whatever.

Read the italic type at the bottom of the first section :)

Doesn't address the problems. Stat Point and Sex Change coupons are an example. The two versions certainly work however quite differently. I have the old version set to buy in my store and cannot find a new version so I cannot buy the new ones. The old ones aren't sold now so I cannot buy either of those two coupons. If they just changed the fripping attributes of the existing coupons, it would fix everything and there wouldn't be two versions floating around. In programming circles you NEVER EVER NEVER EVER NEVER EVER NEVER EVER...NEVER duplicate a function as it causes confusion for your users and basically duplicates code which could be modified to include only one. You just don't do it...why would you add extra lines of code and potential bugs/confusion for later programmers to your code? It bloats the code as there will now be duplicated code for every single thing they decide not to engineer a modification to instead of a duplication. Every bloat adds size and generally slows your program down little by little.

I often wonder why the programmers of Rose do not follow some of the simplest methods and best practices of programming....
