Hmm...this is like net worth over the years? That's a lot of zeny. Here's how I worked it out my answer lol.

If someone sells a neutralizer for 16m, and it costs 400WP points, i.e. $4.00, that's makes 16m = about $4.00. Let's make it $3.50. So, let's throw the number 40,000,000,000 (40b) zeny out there...would I trade all the friends I've met in RO for...$10,000?

Well, I guess my answer is...NEVER!!

Also consider the game itself hasn't changed much at all. We've gotten like 10 new monsters since massive quitting last happened. Last memorable monster patch i can remember is Rachel / Veins.

Apparently you haven't been to the Ash Vacuum/New World. There are entire maps and villages, plot lines, stories, and dungeons filled with new monsters and NPCs.

And to answer the OP's question, no. I never played RO for money, I don't intend to change that in any way.

my answer is no btw even though i spent thousands of money on ro back then when i used to play in loki then eventually quit and came back, i still dont regret it

No, absolutely not. Even taking the working status out of the picture I've met some absolutely awesome people playing RO, and while I may not see them in-game so many of them are on MSN lists or Vents or just the occasional email. (They don't know my secret identity mwuahahaha).

I wonder if you have an old friend that used to play but didn't come back, to what extent would you try to bring them back? I know that we send out emails, but we are still a company, but friends have a much more positive chance of bringing back old guild mates. I have spoken to many players that did come back and the most common thing I hear is about missing friends.. So what can we do to reunite you?

Yeah we do, we just don't tell anyone.

I'm talking about the actual real money you've spent on RO. The objective of the question was to see if "the regretful soul" point of view was felt by the community instead just my guildies. Obviously it seems like you guys and gals made real life connections with those you game with which is a wonderful thing, I can see why so many of you say no to it. As for me I've spent a lot of money over the years on RO and I think if I had the choice I'd take it over the friendships I've made.
