I'm returning from a year break from RO. I've had my account for almost 3 years where I created about 5 level 99 characters. After this merger/change to WP...did they erase everything and have to start you from scratch? I can log in my account and everything but nothing is there...just 3 empty slots.
There are two accounts it seems;
Account
and
Account_i
both of which are empty. Did everyone have to start over?

Hi, looks like we're on the same boat - I quit playing back in 2006/2007. Seems your all passwords were reset and you have to regain access to it first.
Dunno if this link works, but this is what I'm messing with atm.

If you stopped before April 2010, then itis quite possible your characters you love are on an account labeled "account_L or _I", and yes a PW reset is very necessary to gain access (for your security).
I wish there was a great means of re-identifying people that did not use email addresses. Email addresses nowadays are throwaway rather than "permanent" so sorting out how to get you back in game takes a bit of extra time rather than a quick info page and you doing steps to do it yourself. A huge portion of our tickets right now are related to this very problem. Good news is we can and will get everyone helped out in this regard, but the bad thing is it isn't instant.
