As topic says, I took my archer to dancer but.. I kinda hate it, no decent skills as a non-trans to use besides Double-Straife.. As a hunter I hated using traps and prefered to just shoot things.

Anyway is ranger as crappy as I heard people saying it is?

Bow ranger just weak, compared to trap rangers. They get one less ASPD than sniper, add that to low atk of bows, and lack of real bow skills (DS still outdo them). So yeah bow ranger just crappy.

range sucks man.. DS has been a hunters class and up best skill since back in the day.

it's interesting how archer/hunter/sniper/ranger class's best bow skill is obtainable in at the very beginning of the hierarchy. I would have expected something better at least in the ranger class...

Should do a LUK based warg build, get 193 aspd and left click, instant win

Trapper rangers are the fastest levelers in the game with quad malicious main gauche and a ride word hat. Only way to be a strong bow ranger is to have a +5 or higher Orc Archer bow with steel arrows and 193 aspd, but that's not very easy. Go ranger, get fire trap, max dex get vit and you're pretty set.

I'm loving my ranger so far. I can see what others are saying about the bow skills being weak, but with a +8 scorpio + crystal arrows + good warg activation + fear breeze, I'm soloing thor with ease =D I don't really have a need for AS or AB, so until they decide to make them better, I'm not missing out on much.
